In the latest installment of his year end interview, Campbell says that:
“You never have difficulty sleeping when you think you’ve made the right choices”
Of course he sleeps just fine. Campbell won’t be around to face the voters next time leaving his fellow Liberals with a very damaged political brand. Wonder how the rest of the Liberal MLAs that are thinking of running for re-election are sleeping? (see story here)
Oh my…The Toronto Star’s Haroon Siddiqui thinks that a soccer ban on Muslim head-wear equates the Nazi’s Final Solution (see column here). He might want to read some on these Holocast survivors stories (here) to give himself a much needed head shake.
If the Conservative government did something like have their website on a US host, you know the CBC would be doing a story on how un-Canadian the Harper government is. When they do it….

The BC Court of Appeal upheld ruling that keeps in place an October 2008 court decision striking down a City of Victoria bylaw that prohibited camping in public parks.
The City of Victoria was joined by the province and the Union of BC Municipalities in its appeal, arguing that the ruling impeded elected officials from setting public policy.
No go said the activist court. If you don’t have enough free housing and shelters for everyone and anyone, then they can camp out in public parks and the city’s can’t do squat (pun intended) about it. (see story here)
Think I might try this next time the Park Warden comes to collect camping fees.
