What a climb down for NDP MP Pat Martin who all of a sudden is saying he will help the Christian organization, Youth for Christ, build an inner city youth centre in Winnipeg.
This is from the guy who condemned this group last week (see here). Don’t expect to see Martin shovel-in-hand as his religious conversion is only after taking a much deserved bashing mostly from the local media. Check out Martin’s quote:
“Anything happening in the inner city is better than nothing”
Isn’t that big of him? (see story here)

The behavior of this NDP MP is an embarrassment to Manitoba. Manitoba deserves better!

I remember when Pat Martin stood in HOC debating the crime existing in Winnipeg. When it was time to vote on the bill introduced by the conservative which Martin debated vigourously for, he, and his party(ndp) refuse to stand and vote for that bill.
All that talk displayed by NDP went to naught. Still the people of Manitoba continue to vote for him whose party rarely stand to vote on anything.
Fay, I wonder why the NDP are in the HOC? they rarely vote on anything. Have you noticed that?

Deserve better? They get exactly what they voted for (repeatedly).

[...] You’d think this anti-Christian showboat would have learned his lesson when he had to climb down after bashing the Christian organization, Youth for Christ, which was trying to build an inner city youth centre in Winnipeg (see here). [...]

[...] Also: See where Martin apologized (kind of) for bashing this Christian youth group two years ago here [...]
