Asinine op-eds and columns of the day…

A compilation of verbosity somehow deemed worthy of being printed today in our nations newspapers:

- A Liberal Senator giving lessons on truthfulness. see here

- Thomas Walkom defending Israeli Apartheid Week. see here

- Once great writer Chantal Herbert, who has fallen apart lately, compares Harper’s term against Chretien’s and Mulroney’s. see here

- A Liberal riding president and past-president of the Ontario Bar Association tries desperately to link past contempt of Parliament cases to Liberal MP Derek Lee’s dangerous little game that he’s playing. see here

- The prize for the most moronic prose of the day goes to ex-PC MP Reginald Stackhouse who asks Harper to “stay focused on the big issues” by bring poor little Omar Khadr home to his beloved Canada and compares the fate of Charles I to what might await Harper. see here

Has Taber ever not reported on a Liberal press release?

In the “you got to be kidding me, this is news?” category, Jane Taber of the Globe and Mail blogs about the latest pathetic Liberal press release that complains about the title of the Conservative government’s throne speech. (see here)

This is even more pathetic than her giving credence to the lefty pap from The Mark where the blather writings of Justin Trudeau and Elizabeth May were reproduced. (see here)
