Liberal finance minister Colin Hansen’s latest lame attempt to change the political channel and desperately try to gain some positive media coverage for a Liberal government that is taking a beating in the polls by announcing BC is out of the recession.
Problem is, no one believes Hansen or the Liberals about anything anymore. Vaughn Palmer of the Vancouver Sun asks the obvious and logical question “If the BC economy is already back on a steady-as-she-goes course, why does the province need such drastic medicine as the HST?” (see column here)
