Media caught singling out Harper for “snubbing” AIDS conference

The National Post’s Chris Selley nails some journalists and an editorial staff for running articles that insinuated PM Stephen Harper was somehow remiss as Canada’s leader to not attend and sign the Vienna Declaration.

Turns out not one of the other G20 heads of state attended nor signed on for good reason either but this little fact went unmentioned in all these condemnations of Harper.

Funny how that happened huh? (see here)

Old Liberal politicians never die, they just keep feeding from the trough

Another ex-Liberal cabinet minister has popped up. This time in a controversal choice to close Edmonton’s City Centre Airport that looked pre-determined. (see here)

Court documents apparently show ex-Liberal deputy leader and now airport board member Anne McLellan in cahoots with president Reg Miley by not waiting for the public consultation to start before pushing to close it:

Miley – “Are we thinking of helping the mayor ‘cave’ “

McLellan – “My sense is that he and the majority of key councillors could move to the full closure option if there was some strong pressure in the next two weeks.”

It’s more than a little scary to think how many ex-Liberals like McLellan and Allan Rock are still out there.
