Liberal MP Mark Holland is caught changing his story on the importance of having veiled Muslim women uncover their faces for airport security.
After the video shot of Muslim women walking through Air Canada’s check-in without confirming their identities (see here) went viral, Holland was quick to jump on the issue:
“Clearly this is unacceptable. All Canadian Muslims would agree that showing your face for security is essential. The fact that regulations at airports aren’t being followed is disturbing and needs to be fixed immediately”
Now that the Bloc, Liberals and NDP are trying their best to scuttle the public safety committee called back to deal with this issue:
“We’re not even certain there is a problem, all we have is a YouTube video. I don’t really know what the purpose of the meeting is other than to try to get people scared about a non-existent issue.”
Just another day in Liberal Land where you can change you story depending and 99% of the media will look the other way. (see story here)

Update: After the opposition parties scuttled the committee meeting, Holland was caught saying that the Conservatives would have to find another way to “take a run at the Muslim community” then quickly tried to backtrack. (see here)

The media seriously needs to stop taking Marky Holland seriously.
After he got busted intercepting Tory documents that were clearly marked for delivery as if they’d simply been left behind, one would expect that the media would just say to themselves “OK, this guy’s just a retard.”
It’s time to turn up the heat on Mark Holland, and watch him melt.

Opposition defeats motion to investigate airport security.
Holland refused to take over the chair of the committee, as VP, so the conservatives would not have a majority in attendance.
OT but Munir is on P&P trying to explain his position. Too bad he can’t speak english well enough to be understood.

I live in Ajax/Pickering and all Mr,Holland has done is ignore the riding except for photo-ops of course> His opponent is Former Canadain Ambass.of Aphgan. Chris Alexander (PM Martin appointed him), Iggy wanted this guy and asked he said no and decided to run for the CPC. If elected I am sure Mr.Alexander would be a minister in the next government, he does qualify as a star candidate. Other thoughts about Mr.Holland is that while he speaks about the high and moral ground one just needs to ask *edited* regarding Mr,Hollands character

Leftists are the enemy of Canadians..always remember that..they would throw you under a bus if it meant advancing their agenda.
If it meant getting one more vote from a Muslim, they would gladly put your safety at risk riding on public transportation or flying in an airplane..

Sadly his opponent is a one issue Conservative that has a low priority with me. Give me a break, removing Gun Control is not a major issue in the GTA, despite the prevalence of redneck pick up trucks in the riding. In fact it is an impediment to election and a dividor of the populace who do not pay strict attention to the issues.
His web site says nothing of substance. Unless the Electoral District finds another qualified candidate it looks like Mark the Mouth Holland will win again.

He has effectively changed the role of ‘public safety critic’ to advocate for the rights of criminals at home or overseas.
1) Afghan prisoners
2) Violent offenders
3) Canadian Farmers in Rural ridings continue to be attacked by the opposition parties (scapegoat for Montreal massacre created the Liberal boondoggle LGR).
They have a friend in the Liberal Party.
1) Our military, our civil servants were questioned for months and accused of war crimes,torture and cover up.
