Does a Liberal ever see the irony and hypocrisy of their positions?
Quebec’s newly appointed and unelected (see here) Justice Minister Jean-Marc Fournier says he wants every province treated equally and that’s why he is objecting to Newfoundland’s application to receive federal money to help it transmit power from Labrador to Nova Scotia. (see story here)

I know it’s hard for the Loony Left to conceive that there are actually inappropriate places to voice their displeasure and dissent with the ruling Conservatives but do they really think that a charity hockey game is the best place? (see here)
Also: Notice how Taber managed to think inserting Rahim Jaffer’s name in this was somehow relevant as well as linking the idiotic protesters here.
Another columnist that’s “lost” it?

I use to enjoy the National Post’s Chris Selley columns and looked forward to his critique of the day’s columns and editorials in his Full Pundit breakdown but I’m really starting to wonder what happened to the writer I held in high esteem.
Has anyone else noticed that he is using more lefty-biased writers regularly as “good” column examples and that his own columns have become smarmy, petulant and self-righteous to the point of being unreadable?
The latest being his column today (see here) where he dubiously links the Vancouver Airport RCMP Taser death with the G7/G20 protests and the Omar Khadr trial.
I’m getting the sense that he might be happier and more suited at Mcleans with the likes of Aaron Wherry and Paul Wells then at the National Post. Then again, maybe I should be looking at the source and it’s the Post that has changed since the new ownership group took over and where editorials like this (see here) are starting to appear?
