In another pathetic and embarrassing example of pseudo journalism from the CBC’s Tweeter/blogger Kady O’Malley, she takes Sean Holman’s investigation article on the BC Liberals handing out secret contracts to connected firms and people and tries to turn it into a Conservative Party hit-piece.
You always know how far someone will go to attack the Conservatives when they use disgraced ex-Liberal MP Joe Volpe as a credibility source. (see here)

The facts don’t suit your views so you blame the journalist.
You sir, are the pathetic one.
July 26, 2011 at 10:37 AM
Kady, is that you…?
July 26, 2011 at 11:11 AM
Nah, it’s your conscience telling you that anytime you use the term “twitter spat” you sound like a 15 year high school girl bitching because your ring leader got called out.
Also facts are facts…
July 26, 2011 at 11:50 AM
Kady’s groupies coming to her rescue…
July 26, 2011 at 11:32 AM
E – Eccentric.
July 26, 2011 at 10:39 AM
She works for the CBC. Need we say more?
July 26, 2011 at 10:43 AM
We just had a Twitter spat again when I called her out for this piece of garbage
July 26, 2011 at 12:02 PM
Does she know that she works for us-that we are her boss.
July 26, 2011 at 11:26 AM
lol. Spat?
All you did was call her names and spew rhetoric. You failed to answer a single question, failed to dispute a single fact, and failed to offer up a single fact of your own. She made you look like an idiot. Actually, she had very little to do with it.
Odd I don’t see a single mention of Volpe in the article in question.
You should post a copy of your “spat”. It was quite entertaining.
July 26, 2011 at 11:51 AM
Another of Kady’s white-knights
July 26, 2011 at 11:55 AM
Another nonsensical response.
July 26, 2011 at 12:12 PM
This is coming from someone who couldn’t even find the huge Volpe reference in O’Malley’s blog before embarrassingly commenting
July 26, 2011 at 11:30 AM
Ah. Found the Volpe reference. The rest of my comment still stands.
July 26, 2011 at 7:40 PM
You have already revealed yourself to be an idiot bv. Why are you doubling down?
July 26, 2011 at 11:54 AM
one hopes when the CBC finally gets defunded, and James M gets shuffled to the back bench, these overpaid and underbrained so called journalists can go looking for a real job – good luck with that
July 26, 2011 at 1:59 PM
I also questioned Kady about this on twitter and she assured me that the only reason she mentioned the Volpe thing was to establish the firms involved as players on the federal field.
Blink..Blink
July 26, 2011 at 3:31 PM
What a load of crap from O’Malley. She knows that I called her out for using Volpe as a reference source and is now making excuses for doing it
July 26, 2011 at 4:02 PM
Like I or shall I say ‘we are her boss’ ….. , we have a right to call on her at any time.
What is her salary for twittering?
For curosity sake. does she know who sent our troops into Afghanistan in the first place? I don’t think that she does at all.
$40million is still missing yet she Kady, has no clue what the liberals did with it far less to investigate on the matter.
July 27, 2011 at 3:40 AM
KKKKKKady, the twittering journalist, twittering away on our dime.
Is spinning part of the journalism course of study or is it an acquired art to skew the facts to manipulate opinion?
July 27, 2011 at 8:41 AM
[...] O’Malley was so busy trying to attach these BC Liberal insiders to the Conservative Party (see here) by stretching it back to years earlier, she didn’t run across that little tidbit [...]
