In a response to my post on the CBC not reporting CTV pulling EthicalOil.org’s ad due to Saudi legal pressure, a reader pointed out that party-boy George Stroumboulopoulos just happens to sit on a well-known Canadian eco-nut organization’s board of directors.
Love to hear from any CBC defenders how it isn’t a complete conflict-of-interest to have their TV host being so directly tied to this group? (see here)

“An analysis by The Globe and Mail reveals the edge goes to the government. Reports from Finance and the PBO since Mr. Page’s appointment show that in 15 comparable forecasts, the government beat the PBO nine times. The PBO forecasts were more accurate four times and there were two ties.”
Can’t wait to hear from all those Ottawa Press Gallery members who breathlessly reported Page’s data as gospel now admit they were misled and slam him for his poor fiscal record. (see here)
