Suzuki: Sun News’ boss makes reporters “go after me”

David Suzuki’s defence of US money being used by Canadian enviro groups is just too awesome for words but what may land him in hot water is when he claims:

“Several reporters who were considered for positions at the TV channel have said that Teneycke told them part of their job would be to go after me.”  (see here)

He is of course referring to Kory Teneycke who is the VP of Quebecor which owns Sun News.

Looking forward to Teneycke’s response as well as the reporters who he hired.

Hey Delacourt, how many comments did the fake Communion wafer story get?

The Star’s Susan Delacourt is at her conspiracy theory finest linking the fanatically anti-Harper Errol Mendes and Amir Attaran to the tempest-in-a-teapot story of political tricks being done to Liberal MP Irwin Cotler.

Telling line from Delacourt:

”I ran into Attaran at one of the many social events around the Hill last week and inquired whether the access pursuit had continued.”

That folks is all you need to know about Delacourt and one of the Ottawa Press Gallery’s favourite Harper-haters. (see here)

Also: See earlier post on the Star’s Linda Diebel using Attaran and Mendes as references in another wingnut conspiracy theory here and for more info on these two, insert their names on my site search for a litany of blog posts.
