Canadian Auto Workers union part of group sponsoring youth protesters in Durban

It certainly wasn’t hard to find the answer to my own question about who was paying for the Canadian Youth Delegation who demonstrated against Canada at the Durban UN climate change conference.

Turns out that this Delegation is part of the Canadian Youth Climate Coalition paid for by the likes of:

CAW –  I wonder if the average CAW member knows that their union bosses are undermining their jobs by supporting a group dedicated to ridding the World of what they make very good wages producing?

Tides Canada – Who is behind the funding of many “enviro” groups such as the David Suzuki Foundation. Vivian Krause has done some great work exposing this US-based foundation and how they are behind the money which is used to set up professional protesters here in Canada (see here)

Guess this bit of research was just too hard for the CBC reporter?

People who have ‘NO CHOICE’ but have to pay their union dues, have any idea where their union dues are spent on.
In a non unionized business your paycheck after taxes is yours completely.
But those who have no choice but ‘HAVE’ to pay union dues… their paycheck after taxes is not yours complete; you still have to pay ‘union dues. And let say both employees were making 100 dollars total….who stands to get more money.

Oh gawd, did you BCB, did ya have to post a picture of friggin’ Dolty McGuinty? I know it’s fitting, him being one of the top green monsters and all but he’s taking Ontario beyond the fringe right over the cliff and we’re going to pay big time. There’ll be no point in Unistas shouting and puffing either, there’ll be no jobs at any price.

On a personal level I feel sorry for the deluded DePape kid, when life smacks her in the face with with the “stop” sign that is reallity it’s not gonna be pretty.

On a political level I resent the whole special interest influence industry…(say that three times fast…)

I laughed when I read that the protesters were kicked out and their invitations were revoked. Now they will have to stand outside where they can make little noise.

Most fitting end to the idiots.

Oh don’t you worry…the CBC and TorStar will give them plenty of exposure…I just hope that dopey group doesn’t go ‘sight-seeing’ with all of that spare time on their hands (now that they have been kicked out of the conference). South Africa isn’t downtown Ottawa and since the majority ethnic group has taken power, crime and gangs run the place (I’m lead to believe that Cape Town isn’t too bad, if you have a bodyguard). These ill-informed and misguided youth may not be terribly aware of the real world.

I like Charles Adler he is has a mouth there that will spin any of those empty heads with questions which they will have no inclination of understanding the first two words of his questions:
IMO, I write ” so , you are protesting against Canada’s GHE.
Do you know what canada’s gas emission is compared to USA or China or Europe
What is it you have against alberta oilsands and not the tar ponds in NS or the pollution that comes from the coal generating plants.
Which is worse the oilsands or the coal generating plants in Ontario.
Do you who live in Eastern canada have any idea where you your oil comes from.
Do you know that there are pipelines already built in USA that carries oil from venezuela and Saudi Arabia.
How many times has there been oil spillage from oil tankards ships than from the pipelines itself.

You say you are Greenies and want to use Green Energy. How is it then that you are using oil and gas in your daily lives surely the make up, the clothes, the cars or bikes that you use and food you eat even your toothpaste you use all have oil in them. I guess none of you are Greenies at all. You are just like the rest of us here.

When the price of gas goes up why do you complain you should be thrilled ; that the use of gas for your cars is high therefore have to or are forced to use Green Energy. Is that what you want… limit the use of gas and oil.

Suzuki says we must follow China the no one world worst polluters in the world, is that why you are in Durban that we canada are not no one in the world. Now why didn’t you say so.
Do you know that the oilsands are heavily environmental regulated in the world. Of course you don’t .
Hey oilsands, get this, these so call enviros nutbars are ‘upset’ that you are not worse than China.

By the way, so far, none of you who went to Durban have proven that you are ‘Green.’
