How it is possible for any news organization to allow such a disgusting letter as this to be printed defies belief:
“If I were the wife of the Prime Minister of Canada, I would ask serious questions about the attraction suspicious of my husband to Queen Elizabeth II. Personally, I sometimes wondered if our Prime Minister does not a kind of almost fetishistic fixation on the image of the queen. Especially since the adulation of the monarchy is not shared by the majority of Canadians and the demand for products is not equal to supply royal conservative. *** Pierre Deschênes – On December 23, 2011″ (see here)
Le Devoir has always been devoted to Quebec separatism and includes heavy-weight political pundit Chantal Hebert on its roster of columnists who I’m sure would not want to be associated with a paper that would print something so outrageous.

What a horrible article, it is another example of Justin’s outburst to Peter Kent.
And how does he know what the majority of CANADIANS want. There are real CANADIANS outside of Quebec.

Let’s see. I think I will write a letter LeDiaper myself. Something along the lines of….Hmm.. Oh say… Quebecers are nothing but a collection of whiny, corrupt, useless, gutless, welfare bums who make no contribution to the common good. They threaten separation but have proven several times they haven’t got the balls to do it. This is because they know that they are incapable of administering their own affairs and need their betters in English canada to do it for them. Since they have proven that they are merely bluffing when they threaten separation canada can safely disregard any further threats and treat them with disdain. Since they, as well, do not bother participating in the federal process, (ie: voting Bloc or NDP) then there is really no point in considering hteir opinion on national matters. So Quebec WE will make the decisions around here and YOU will suck it up and kindly STFU and do as you’re told. Have a nice day.
I think that might convince a few of these ***** to vote for separation.

John, I’m sure many separatists thank you for your remarks. Because of people like you, national unity is
only a dream.
December 24, 2011 at 11:15 AM
John speaks for more than a few in ROC!!!
December 24, 2011 at 11:38 AM
“many separatists thank you for your remarks”. No they would’nt. They’d never see it. A comment like that would not see the light of day. Only the anti Harper comments appear.
December 24, 2011 at 12:07 PM
I think you will find that most Canadians at this point could care less if Quebec separates. Quite a few Albertans used to donate to the Bloc.

And they still do James .8 billion dollars last year..A source of mine says they want more.LOL Isn,t it sickening that we keep giving this blackmail money to a province that is trying to destroy Canada. And we probably waste another 10 billion a year on bilingual translation etc..What a GD nightmare we created with the Turdeau years.
MERRY CHRISTMAS

National unity only a dream?
We are are more united than I’ve seen in my lifetime.
And that’s because even Quebecers are sick of the stupid game the Liberals and Seppies played for the last 20 years.
December 24, 2011 at 4:38 PM
I am sure the separatists *DO* thank me. In fact I’m certain they will ASSIST me in translating the letter when I ask them. Screw Quebec. They have long since worn out the patience of canadians. If they don’t have the balls to separate then it’s time to give them a nudge.

Good call John, Can someone tell me again what quebec (haven’t put a capital letter on the word quebec in years because they are not important enough to to deserve it) contributes to Canada? IMO it is not just the “radicals” causing s#!t. These freeloaders in quebec have become accustomed to the free ride and know which politician has the best chance to provide it. It has not sunk into their thick heads that their vote is no longer needed to get a majority. They can’t separate soon enough as far as I am concerned.
December 24, 2011 at 10:51 PM
J_C G that is a dream I want to become a reality.
December 24, 2011 at 10:56 AM
I would also like to add. Quebecers who having liffted their noses high in the air have walked right into a stone wall. The majority governments of Muroney (1988), Chretien and Harpern show that you don’t need Quebec to get a majority. Quebecers have handed over the rule of the counrty to english canada by continously voting for parties that don’t matter (Bloc NDP) Thank you! Right nice of you. Keep up the snotty superiority. It works for me!

How sick! Is Pierre just projecting his own twisted mind? It is just too disgusting for comment to tell the truth.

MERRY CHRISTMAS DEAN AND TO YOUR FAMILY.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to ALL.

Next time Quebec threatens to hold a referendum on staying in Canada,I suggest the government hold a referendum in the Rest of Canada to see if WE want them to stay in Canada.
Quebec MIGHT be in for an unpleasant surprise. What is the annual payment the ROC sends Quebec? 8 billion?
December 24, 2011 at 7:22 PM
I went to Quebec twice in 1997,and I’ve never went back, and never would go back.I went to China in April/2011 and I want to go back, and I will go back.I was treated very well in China, but in Quebec I was treated like I was in a foreign country.Gerald
