Ted Morton’s neuter surgery completed by his new liberal boss Redford

How the once mighty conservative bastions do fall. Is there a greater Canadian example of this than Alberta’s Ted Morton?

It was bad enough when he threw his personal support (his followers didn’t) to Gary Mar after his own dismal leadership showing but now won’t even come to the defence of the industry that drives Alberta and is the ministerial portfolio he oversees. (see here)

Any further proof needed to show that the Alberta PCs have been totally taken over by the Progressives and no remnant of Conservative remains?

Meanwhile: Alberta Elections is currently investigating 10 PC Party riding associations who received illegally donated monies and president Bill Smith calls them “mistakes” (see here)

National Post pimping Bob Rae for Liberal leader

Regardless of the promise not to run if he was appointed interim leader and the personal commitment he made to his wife (see here), the National Post thinks it’s perfectly legitimate for Bob Rae to become Liberal leader:

“The Liberals should use their upcoming convention to find some way to drop the “interim” charade.” (see here)

At least now we have it on record what the National Post thinks about a politician keeping their word.
