Every so often you see a journo letting their guard down and exposing the behind-the-scenes going-ons between themselves and a favoured political party and today’s post by the Times Colonist’s Lindsay Kines is a great example.
The left-leaning media will usually happily go along with being led down the garden path or conveniently look the other way on certain scandals and lies but when it’s a pet issue, look out:
I’ve had calls from several senior members of her staff who appear sincerely mystified by public and media outrage over the CLBC bonus fiasco (see here)
Kines is obviously taking heat and is personally embarrassed especially since by his own admission, some journos weren’t fooled by this Liberal lie (see here) but for some BC media members like Black Press’ Tom Fletcher, they continued to shill regardless. (see here)
No Liberal lie is too much for Fletcher and proves he is only a phone call away for the Liberal spin doctors.
