Was CBC employee forced to disclose his info on Twitter account after my blog post?

On Wednesday I helped ‘out’ a CBC senior editor who was taking shots at the competing Sun News while not disclosing his employment (see here) which set him off on a bizarre, childish on-line rant as pictured above. Seriously, how does a supposed professional journo do something like that?

Nemett even took a swipe at me that I only discovered after he removed the privacy settings installed on his account after my blog post:

Next time u r in TO Dean, drop me a line and I’ll buy you lunch in the CBC food court. It will be really special!

Nemett didn’t have the brass to actually cc me his snide on-line remark but whatever, at least he has now changed his Twitter bio.

I have asked him to comment on why he has done so. Was he told to or did he realize how much of a clown he was looking like and did the right thing?

I’ll update if he responds.

Update: Nemett’s response

Nope. Except perhaps, when did @ezralevant start needing #CPC members to come to the rescue? He once had a sense of humour.
