Tell me that there wasn’t a deal worked out between Liberal staffer Adam Carroll and the Liberal Party to hire him back (see here) after the storm blew over from him setting up the Twitter account to smear Conservative minister Vic Toews?
Liberal leader Bob Rae obviously lied when he said that “political controversy is one thing, personal attacks are another” or Carroll would not be now be back inside the party he leads.
And will we hear Justin Trudeau denounce this re-hiring since he stated at the time that he was “Appalled to find out Vikileaks came from us Liberals. Yes, I tweeted about it, but I did not endorse it. Personal attacks are always wrong.” or will he be silent because he knew all along there was a deal in place?
What about the media who praised Bob Rae for “unreservedly” apologising to Toews like the National Post’s Andrew Coyne:
“Rae turning a fiasco for his party into something of a personal triumph. This is how an apology is done, folks.”
Can’t wait to hear from them all.

And what is increible about this is when a Conservative staffer was fired/rehired the CBC did a news story on the event. Located here….

Wonder if the CBC will do a news story on Carrol ? So far nothing on the CBC website……

I’m not as angry with the Libs for hiring Carrol back. I reserve that for individuals/groups/orgs that I hold in high esteem. The Libs obviously don’t qualify. Instead, reading this story I stopped and thought, “Yeah, that sounds about right.”
The true test, as always, will be to see what the Media Party does with Carrol’s re-hiring which I suspect will be nothing. I bet the CBC’s Solomon doesn’t bring it up which is why conservatives on his show should not only bring it up themselves in conversation with P&P’s fake moderator but ask him why he and the state broadcaster have chosen to leave it to the CPoC to inform Canadians on the development.

Who will be his next target. Regardless, any time in the future that stuff appears by some blogger or whatever, that is against any conservative, we will blame the liberals being behind it.

Thing is, Carroll didn’t just make a snide comment on twitter and forget about it,he was set up to do as much damage as possible to a man and obliquely his family. He should be ashamed, his party should be ashamed but being Liberals they kow they can get away with it. Even in politics there can be no excuse for rotten stunts like this.

What does he have on some liberal that he threatens to put out there. Oh, and Apps guilty of illegal lobbying.
