The Calgary Sun’s Stephen Lautens has a bad habit of showing his hatred for Conservatives on Twitter, this time he joined a group of Leftie nutbars Tweeting about PM Stephen Harper:

The Sun News organization must be so very proud to have Lautens representing them in Harper’s home town.

CBC must be hiring\; the job requirements are: unethical, unintelligence anti-harper are allow.
Any sign of intelligence, awareness, nose bodies detected will be sent packing.
The list to enroll at CBC is very long so those who do a very good at the above requirements will be hired.
Free food, salaries, vacations, parties, carviars, limos, to name a few are all provided and paid for by the public.
Now, who wouldn’t want to work at CBC so as to get all that ‘freeness’?

Seems pretty milquetoast for “hate”. If anything, he is guilty of some unfunny hyperbole. The foot tweet is a mis-characterization, he wasn’t making jokes about the ‘foot’; just commenting on the absurdity of people who were by alluding to political sabotage in jest. Again, maybe not super funny but humour can be pretty subjective.

For about 5 years not one of the MSM outlets said a word about the Liberals ignoring Omar Khard in GITMO, BUT……once Harper came to power in 2006 the CBC and Toronto Star has attacked harper for not bringing him home as a ” BOY Soldier” .
At least the NDP was consistant to bash canada and support the Taliban over these years .

To prove your point, last Sept 11, on the 10th anniversary of 9/11, CBC’s P&P host, Evan Solomon, had a special extended interview with former PM Cretin in studio to discuss all things related to the war on terror. Very rare for that program to interview a single guest for that amount of time. And not once once was Khadr ever discusssed; never did Solomon press him on how the Lib gov’t could allow the “boy soldier” (who was a boy ONLY under Lib gov’t rule, having turned 19-yrs-old 4 months BEFORE Harper even became PM in 2006) to languish in Gitmo. Only in the days, weeks and months that followed, all the way to the present day period, does that program, and CBC news broadcasts in general, tie the current gov’t to stories about Khadr.

I live in Calgary and read the Sun and had never heard of him. He’s a Toronto lawyer – nuff said. Calgarians are very loyal to the PM so this clown won’t get much of a following.

From what I’ve read of Lautens… not much… what would a media drone like him know about ethics? He sure isn’t funny, at least not intentionally.

Good for You Lautens! Lord knows the Sun needs more reporters unafraid of Herr Harper and his goons, including right-wing media that misrepresent the truth in their articles. You all know who you are. I am proud to be associated with Mr Lautens and contribute to the #denounceharper hashtag. By the way Alberta…the west extends beyond your borders, sorry to disappoint you. A little geography lesson for you.
