The CBC’s Kady O’Malley can always be counted on for idiotic reporting but this latest from her may have just taken the cake.
How anyone could possibly take her as a professional journalist after writing this today is inexplicable:
Yes, you read that correctly: Later this afternoon, the minister will,according to the Toronto Star, announce Canada’s plan to send a team of observers to Ukraine to monitor the upcoming elections in the very same in the neighbouring riding to one currently at the centre of a major electoral challenge — and he’s even invited the local still-technically-an-MP-for-now Ted Opitz — whose parliamentary status is effectively in limbo pending the outcome of his appeal — to take part in the event. (see here)
What a clown. O’Malley needs to give her head a shake, get herself to the Ukraine to see what real election fraud is all about.

While one hopes a sufficiently inquisitive throng of intrepid reporters shows up to quiz the minister and the MP-for-the-moment on just what, exactly, they plan on telling curious locals about the electoral oddities under investigation back home in Canada
While O’Malley is in the Ukraine, she should seek out the family and co-workers of one of the murdered journalist who use to criticize the Russian-backed government like Grorgiy Gongadze.
Maybe she can learn a thing or two herself from these Ukrainian locals?

I’m sure Kay has already patted herself on the back for this supposedly brilliant blog post. Now if Kady were to apply the same logic to other parties, than the Liberals could never make a spending announcment in Quebec.

Don’t go too hard on Kady, don’t get angry at her either. She’s a damaged, defective human being with the belief that, like so many of her colleagues, taxpayers should pay the salaries of journalists, even the so-called ones, like her.

Anyone dumb enough to believe anything she writes is far too stupid and hate filled to ever vote conservative anyway.
If he shut down the CBC the Marxist goons and loons there might actually get jobs with media outlets with at least a small shred of credibility where they might actually be seen by people with actual brains.
Harper is just leaving all the saps at the CBC where they spout their hate and lies and think they are actually influencing real Canadians.
No one with a shred of common sense would actually think the CBC is a news service.

I think she has very few followers really. Last I checked there were 12 comments. Think about that for a CBC posted story.

She is clearly very unprofessional. She essentially falls into the category of a gossip monger, while viewing herself as a serious investigative reporter. What I have always noticed about her “investigations” however, is that she seems incapable of distinguishing between what is important vs. what is trivial and trite. Here reporting invariably focuses on the latter. She is not a serious journalist — even given CBC standards.
