Liberal Party President adds to the fear mongering on H1N1

Alfred Apps

Why does Liberal Party President Alfred Apps think it’s in his job description to comment on any federal political topics let alone a hand grenade like H1N1? Makes you wonder if it’s an inflated ego or there is such a leadership vacuum in the Liberal Party, idiots like this feel they need to step up to the plate. Somebody might want to tell this guy that health care is a provincial responsibility and saying dumb things like this is partly why the Liberals are polling at 25%.

There is absolutely no room for parties to play their silly little games on an issue that is as sensitive as this.  Apps inflammatory and outrageous email saying “Canadians are unnecessarily dying” and suggesting that the H1N1 crisis is Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s “hurricane Katrina” is a disgrace.

Apps should be figuring out party stuff like how the Conservatives raised twice as  much money as they did last quarter and if he really wants to talk about H1N1, he can engage  Liberal MP Doctor Hedy Fry who wanted MPs to get their own clinic on Parliament Hill.
