Atwood responds in the Sun

Seriously…reading this and Atwood’s previous Tweets, I really question she was the actual author of any of the works attributed.

  1. Patrick Ross Says:

I particularly enjoy Atwood’s math skills.

Avaaz is 100% funded by its members, 5% funded by George Soros.

    Avaaz.org… giving it 105%.

  2. Bec Says:

I agree Blue, what a mess but what I picked up on in the places that she succeeded somewhat with her verbal flow, is the pattern of contradictions. Free speech, controlled. That’s this woman’s position and I don’t think she would ever admit it.

In my case, there are many, many channels or programs that I either find offensive or unwanted and yet because they are bundled, impossible to be rid of, therefore never viewed but paid for by me.

I find that a rather simple argument but perhaps there lies the problem, too obvious for the likes of a messy thinker like Peggy.

  3. Martin Says:

Atwood admits to signing this amateurish American petition.
At least Homer J Simpson and Snuffleupagus, had their signatures forged.

  4. wilson Says:

When I first read her piece, I thought ‘huh? did her cat write this?’
    No,
she wrote like a grade 6 student because
the Sun is “a newspaper for people who can’t read”

She and her elitist buddies will be all giggles over that column.

  5. Jen Says:

How would she like the idea of us bycotting her books.

Since Avaaz from New York is giving canada orders then we should have no problems telling NY to boycott AVAAZ.ORG for balantly interfering in another country’s affairs.
Simply ask New Yorkers ” how would you like for CBC from canada to dictate to you NYorkers what you can or cannot have on airwaves.”

  6. Fay Says:

Magaret Atwood considers herself too good for most of Canada. She considers herself an equal to the likes of george soros. The fact that Canada is a democracy means nothing when they are working with the CBC manipulating the message machine. Where media manipulating HATE speech had it first beginning.

    • Jen Says:

CBC-A PROPAGANDA MESSENGER that suit Socialism to the ‘T’ capitalism is not their cup of tea’ yet they live off the capitalist- you me troops.

When you look closely, the liberals cannot live without CBC or any other liberal media but had they to live without them just like the PM who has too everyday; where do you think theyliberals, would be right.

  7. Bruce from Cambridge Says:

without the CBC (paid for by us real Canadians who actually work and pay taxes) the Liberal party would be dried ******* blown away by the wind.

    • Jen Says:

      Right on,, Bruce.

Have you notice how she goes easy on Soros and AVAAZ.org , but comes on strong on the SunTV.

Bottom line is: they are all afraid of SunTV – just like they don’t like FOX USA. Gee, they must have something big to hide.
AVAAZ.ORG nor Soros or anyone from ‘outside’ have no right to poke their noses into our country and business affairs.
If she loves ‘FREE SPEECH’ then why doesn’t she tell Venezuela, Iran, or for that matter Russia that ‘Free Speech’ must be allowed.

  8. real conservative Says:

I have no problem with what she wrote, in fact it was entertaining. What I do want to know is why she is against SunTV based upon what she has said??

  9. Atwood calls gov’t “dictatorship” and Ed Journal says that’s “razor-sharp wit”??!! « BC Blue: One BC Conservative's view on it all… Says:

[…] To an audience that laps up this kind of pap, Margaret Atwood doesn’t disappoint: – “My horoscope today said I should not make any unnecessary enemies.” There was much laughter from the audience. – “I do not pick fights. Fights somehow break out in my vicinity.” – saying they [gov't] had turned into one that’s all about “airplanes and jails. “The airplanes are useless against the real foes we face, which are scarcity and inequality.” – As for the jails, who will fill them? she asked. “Is it a case of build it and they will come?” – “Is the big idea really to bankrupt the social welfare system … by spending all of our money on planes and jails?” I guess for the champagne socialist crowd, this is high-end stuff but I’m reading another book by Christopher Hitchens, so it’s kinda hard for me to compare. Check out an earlier post on Atwood responding to SunMedia over her bizarre call for them to be blocked by a petition from Avaaz and see what you think of her big brains here. […]
