Globe’s Delacourt whining about “mistruths” and “cynical politics” a bit rich

Susan Delacourt from the Globe and Mail lashes out at what she sees as dirty pool by the Conservatives.

“I don’t particularly care who wins the by-elections, but as a long-time observer of politics, I can tell you that this isn’t business as usual. If this is the kind of campaigning that is allowed to stand, if we just shrug, Canada will get the base, cynical politics it deserves.” (see here)

For some  comparisons, check out these links on Delacourt’s journalistic standards here, herehere, here, here, and my complaint letter to the Star and Delacourt’s snippy response back to me here.

So please Susan, tell us another tall tale…

Ms. Delacourt is one of the biased reporters who forms part of the Parliamentary Press Gallery. There is nothing Harper or his government could say or do which would meet with her approval. However, to her credit she makes no pretense of the fact that she loves all things Liberal. To see on a pundit panel I simply take the opportunity to fast forward anything she says. That way I don’t want to put my foot through by television. She is one nasty piece of work.

Delacourt seems to be competing with that other light weight “Liberal” mouthpiece Jane Taber for best “Liberal” activist encrusted within the media. Judging from the condescending, unaccountable response you received from Delacourt I’d say she’s like all “Liberal” militants these days, angry, and desperate. Why are all “Liberals” who hide out within the media so ugly and contemptuous of critical thought ? Delacourt is a great example of the growing impotence of the “Liberal” media in dictating who to vote for and whom one should hate and fear, this may explain the irrational and quite obvious double standard she displays in her “reportage”. Truly ugly.

I went back and reviewed the complaint letter and subsequent response from Delacourt.
You are a reader, a civilian, correct? Her response to your complaint to the Star was like a fingernail scratching a blackboard.
I can’t think of anywhere I haved seen a response to a reader’s complaint, sound more arrogant, condescending and downright (b)witchy. Wow.

Not that I want Conservatives anywhere to behave in the political theatre as those that Delacourt obviously cherishes but has she been observing any of the hideous shenanigans that have taken place since the red tent members lost power almost 5 years ago? Her hypocricy is not a healthy sign!

I believe she works for the Red Star

Had to laugh when I read Old Susan’s blog. She failed to mention the multiple time Liberal MP’s have stated things about Fantino with suggestions the OPP are covering up expenses from the G20 on the House floor as well praising Mr.Genco and Mr.Lameriux, does these actions serve the public of does it just serve the Liberal Party? While Ms.Delacourt was ranting she also failed to mention anything about Mark Holland’s civil lawsuit against Mr.Fantino.

OBSERVER? Delacourt? If that is the case, where is the millions of dollars still missing, what about Pablo R, Sgro, Layton and Chow rents. what about when Ignatieff called our prime minister ‘sulphur’
We are the observer now and we observe that the media has been dancing with the liberals for many years.
