CP’s Ditchburn continues her cosy relationship with the CBC

The Canadian Press’ largest customer is the CBC, so you tell me if there is something fishy about Jennifer Ditchburn doing this interview with CBC president Hubert Lacroix a day before he is scheduled to appear in front of the Ethics Committee.

Lacroix’s sole whine during this “interview” is how unfairly the Sun media chain has treated his poor, poor beloved CBC:

“Every time they weaken us, every time they create doubt about us, every time they take dollars away from us or influence people to do that, they weaken the broadcaster to their advantage”

For more on Ditchburn’s relationship with the CBC, see my complaint letter filed here. I have had a responses back from the CBC Ombudsman Kirk LaPointe and CP’s Editor-in-Chief Scott White which I will post tomorrow.

Ditchburn is a ditzy, brutally biased left-wing journalist. I’ve seen her interviewed on TV. Nothing even remotely balanced in anything I’ve read of hers – which is fine, except she claims she’s unbiased.
Keep calling out these CBC connected journalists BC Blue… look forward to reading the responses from CBC and CP.

    • Liz J Says:

“Brutally biased left-wing …” describes her for me as well. She gives me the creeps quite frankly, I can’t bear the sight of her. Wasn’t she employed by CBC when she was put into hiding for a period of time due to complaints about her selective reporting, quoting out of context to fit an agenda?

  2. Stan Says:

The greaseballs at the CBC should have thought of that before they attacked SunTV before they went on the air.

  3. Sean M Says:

I’m sure Ditchburn was once on the CBC payroll (taxpayer), and I guess she still is. CP is a bit of joke “news organization” anyhow, are they not financially supported by the Toronto Star as well? Seems like nothing more then a PR stunt with the usual incestuous lefty media charade of impartiality. I look forward to reading the responses you received from Lapointe and White.

“Every time they weaken us, every time they create doubt about us, every time they take dollars away from us or influence people to do that, they weaken the broadcaster to their advantage”

Weaken you? how so Lacroix? Create doubt? cbc is a master of creating doubt Laroix-Try again.

Take dollars from you? No Lacroix it is OUR MONEY TAXPAYERS’ MONEY and we can take away the whole cbc bank of our money from you which we will.
Weaken the broadcaster to their advantage?- No Lacroix, CBC weakened with the daily manipulations and lies and, abuse with of our money to your advantage-not ours. Try again.

BTW Jennifer, we pay your salary and Lacroix’s. Just remember.
In fact, you pay yourself and Lacroix.

SNN is not paid by the public and have not weakened anyone -you at CBC did it all on your own.

  5. Alain Says:

My word, yes it is just so unfair to except the state broadcaster to comply with a court order to release the information requested under to FIA, the nerve of Sun News to shine a light on all this. I am thankful that we have one news network that dares expose such things; otherwise we would never even know.

  6. Response from CBC Ombudsman on my Jennifer Ditchburn complaint « BC Blue: One BC Conservative's view on it all… Says:

[…] I post this below as the background to the CP’s Jennifer Ditchburn giving a very curious interview to the head of the CBC yesterday (see here) […]
