Vancouver riot investigator admits he’d be fired if he exposed truth

In a comment showing how far the Vancouver Police Department would go to cover up its own as well as the Vancouver City officials’ responsibility, lead police investigator for the 2011 Stanley Cup riots, Sergeant Dale Weidman admitted to having to:

“keep some of my comments to myself because I still have to bring home a paycheque.” (see here)

Think about that for a sec. Weidman is saying he is being handcuffed about being honest and thorough in his investigation on threat of losing his job. How often do other Vancouver Police investigations go uncompleted and under-reported to protect politicians, bureaucrats, or police officers?

Kinda scary thought especially with the serial killer Robert Pickton Inquiry going on right now huh?
