Blogger posts RCMP member’s bombshell quotes about Christy Clark’s involvement in BC Rail scandal

A member from inside the RCMP special investigation unit is not only saying that Christy Clark was indeed under investigation, the RCMP and the crown’s special prosecutor covered it up to protect her and the Liberal Party:

–  Christy Clark was “a person of interest” in the BC Rail investigation and that the RCMP covered it up “Absolutely, and any honest cop involved in the investigation knows this. But they have to cover it all up. If the NDP or Conservatives win the next election, you’ll see some early retirements by members who were involved in the case. They don’t want a public inquiry and will fight to stay away from the witness bay.”

–  “I personally know she was a lot more involved than she claims”

–  “I was surprised when she lied to the press about it before the leadership race.”

It’s a Liberal thing,it’s the way they do politics. Come to Ontario where bone headed Conservatives didn’t bother to vote because they didn’t like their leader, many I’m sure just got on the bandwagon knowing nothing about WTF was going on. giving us a third term of McGuinty who has turned us into have-not status, extreme debt and is laden with scandals.
There’s little chance the NDP will side with the PC’s to bring him down so he has a defacto majority and is winging on unabated with the usual help from the MSM.

I find the lack of integrity of the Crown Prosecutor and the RCMP far more alarming than the political machinations of corrupt politicians. This is most distressing,as if the cops obey political masters rather than the Law, we have become a police state.

There should be a full public inquiry into the sale of BC Rail, conducted by a Judge from outside B.C.,preferably with no Liberal connections, with wide open parameters as to the focus of the hearing.

I will predict either an NDP or Conservative Provincial government will NOT conduct a full inquiry into BC Rail. The political elites look after one another, being fully aware that next time it could be THEM under suspicion.

If anything, expect a Gomery-style coverup masquerading as an inquiry, with a couple of low level minions sacrificed for the cause.

    • BC Blue Says:

This is where a Canadian FBI-style federal investigation force is needed.

      • Gerry Says:

More government? I always thought belief in the goodness of government was a non-conservative position. Your comment rests on the belief, erroneous from my perspective, that a federal level would be better than . . . . oh, heck the RCMP is federal. Hmmmm, so a new federal group would watch over another federal group that used to have our confidence but then went off the rails – which took about 100 years – and what is your guesstimate as to how long it would take for this new investigative group to require YET AGAIN another investigative group, and so on and so on and so on . . . etc

        • BC Blue Says:

The RCMP is not a federal investigator body the same as the FBI nor can it be entrusted to investigate it’s own members or politicians as we have seen ample examples of. I am not necessarily in favour of increasing government police bodies as to substituting what the RCMP is incapable of doing properly to one that can.

Well , I’m not surprised that Kristy Klark is a crook and a liar, after all, she is a Liberal. The media are a disgrace, and constantly run cover for their collegue, Kristy the unelected Premier. I think we now know how and why the RCMP got they’re contract renewal to “police” BC. The corruption in this Province is down right Liberal, federal Liberal. Cue the media silence and excuses. Public enquiry will never happen, way to many crooks in power for that to happen. Shameful. This is an issue that Cummins and the BC Cons could make some noise with, simply promise a Public Inquiry… and watch Kristy poop her pants.

I think we’ve only heard the tid bits and this political rot goes to the heart of the B.C. Liberals under C Clark. This woman has no shame… she takes credit for anything she thinks that can be pulled over peoples eyes. I don’t think any right thinking person would believe anything she said “even if her tongue came notarized”… Christy … just keep peeing on my leg and tell me it’s raining!

    • BC Blue Says:

The difference with this one is a RCMP officer alleging RCMP corruption to cover Liberal politicians

      • Hans Says:

The swamp water in this septic tank is getting pretty toxic…!

Time to call in the pumper truck to drain the toxic swill and take it all in for chemical treatment.

BTW loved the cartoon when I saw it first some time ago.

Yep they should all be flattened by a rail car…just a damned disgrace.

        Cheers

  5. James Says:

Yes I’m sure there is no problem at all with the RCMP having the authority to seize your car with no appeal if they suspect you are intoxicated. Actually, under the law driving while not being able to provide a breath sample is a serious offence. Better not develop COPD or Asthma in BC because it’s a crime to drive with that condition.

  6. Relayer Says:

Adrian Dix has promised to hold an inquiry into the corrupt sale of BC Rail when the NDP wins the next election. For that reason alone, I’ll be holding my nose and voting for them.

  7. arf Says:

Everyone wants to remember that since there was no BC Conservative party candidates to run aginst the BC Liberals last election, that most conservatives went with the Hochsteins et al and voted liberal. Now Petersen and a few are defecting to the BC Conservatives and are trying to point the finger now. Why didn’t they do it when Campbell was on full scale give away mode! I think it was because Campbell/Clark were viewed as being a lot more conservative than liberal. The BC Conservatives also thought that having the HST was wonderful and I discussed that topic with then leader Wilf Hanni. If some of the current crop of wanna be BC Conservatives had voted in a few more independents, maybe their chances would be better after the liberal implosion is over. Itl looks like any floor crossers to the BC Conservatives will only generate backlash from a lot of voters who believe that a bunch of MLAs should have taken Campbell to the woodshed over BC Rail, etc, etc etc.
should they be accepted. Many will go NDP simply because it could be the same old group calling themselves something else. Too bad.

    • Exurban Says:

I believe John Cummins and the officials of the BC Conservative Party have already said they don’t want any of the existing BC Liberal MLAs. They’re welcome to leave the party but not cross the floor.

  8. Thucydides Says:

Conservatives, Libertarians and Classical Liberals all believe in the “Rule of Law”, so suggesting that there should be some sort of Federal force empowered to investigate actions such as the alleged RCMP coverup of the BC Rail investigation isn’t against our principles at all.

Professional investigators with access to the resources needed to conduct forensic audits, examine bank records and so on would be able to crack cases like this; even a full inquiry by the Legislature would be lacking in the expertise needed to examine evidence.

Since the RCMP would still be a national police force, they themselves would serve as the counterweight to this Special Investigations Unit.

  9. Police tipping-off media about politicians should worry us all « BC Blue: One BC Conservative's view on it all… Says:

[…] won’t hold my breath as a newspaper that won’t print a word about Christy Clark’s deep BC Rail corruption ties won’t be likely very forthcoming about a hit-piece on her political opposition. Share […]
