BC Liberals allow ex-Liberal MP who once supported a convicted Indo-Canadian gangster to run for them

BC Liberal leader Christy Clark is perfectly happy to have former Liberal MP Sukh Dhaliwal run for her in the upcoming election even though he wrote a letter of support for a now murdered gangster:

The former Liberal MP is finally answering questions about a letter he wrote in 2008.

Dhaliwal wrote to a U-S district court judge on parlimentary letter head saying he had met Ranjit Cheema at community engagments, and that the one-time Bindy Johal associate appeared fully rehabilited.
This past May, Chima was gunned down in south Vancouver, in an apparent gang hit.

REPORTER:”Do you still believe thought that he was rehabilitated?”

“I made those statements at the time. I haven’t had any…interactions with him or of the others. I haven’t followed up so I can’t comment.”

As to why he wrote the letter in the first place, Dhaliwal says it was a request from Cheema’s family (see here)

Also: See earlier post here where Dhaliwal’s name came up when Christy Clark was caught lying about her association with the attempted murderer Jaspal Atwal

There’s so much fodder emanating from the Liberal/Left in Ontario and BC but it’s like pulling hens’ teeth to stir the Conservative masses.

In Ontario Dalton the Destroyer has closed up shop so he can go forth and act like he has a majority by proroguing and the PC’s are dialing members for dollars in preparation for the next election instead of demanding the Legislature reopen.
Political pussycats are not what we need, we need tigers.
