Trudeau will resign for his Alberta bashing like McGuinty did?

Liberal MP and leadership wannabe Justin Trudeau has had some unbelievable comments he made to a Quebec interviewer in 2010 aired by Sun News:

“Canada isn’t doing well right now because it’s Albertans who control our community and socio-democratic agenda. It doesn’t work”

Lagace then asked Trudeau if he thought Canada was “better served when there are more Quebecers in charge than Albertans?”

Trudeau replied: “I’m a Liberal, so of course I think so, yes. Certainly when we look at the great prime ministers of the 20th century, those that really stood the test of time, they were MPs from Quebec… This country – Canada – it belongs to us.” (see video here)

Yesterday, Liberal MP David McGuinty set the precedent (see here) that Alberta bashing would not be tolerated nor condoned in the Liberal Party – Trudeau has no choice but to do the same.

Thank God for Sun News doing their homework, and exposing what kind of double-talking, phony that Justin “POS” Trudeau is!

Has the LPC become just another fan club for the star du jour? Justin Trudeau is about as ready to lead a political Party as the average 16 year old. And as for his becoming Prime Minister, surely Canadians can’t be THAT stupid,no matter how star struck they are.

Love to see the twitter link when it goes viral.

“maybe I’d consider making Quebec a country. … I know my values very well, even if I no longer recognized Canada.” — Justin Trudeau

  5. Liz J Says:

Junior Trudeau didn’t make this statement way back when, it was only two years ago. Are we supposed to believe he has changed his mind on this view in such a short time? Think I’ll go along with the song that goes something like he’s “a mess of contradiction, party truth and partly fiction…”
A bit of shine went off the Lib/Left Media Pony…..

Does little Trudeau even have a critic’s position to resign from?

Turd 2 displays the exact same divisive tribal supremacist bigotry as his detestable old man, Turd 1. The difference this time is the fact that Turd 2 does not share the same acting capabilities as Turd 1, nor does he have the luxury and convenience of being an un-known entity, never vetted by the media, or understood by a naive public, like Turd 1. Canadians know who the substitute drama teacher is, and most Canadians now understand the horrific damage wrought upon the nation by Turd 2’s warped, bigoted, divisive Father. To now understand that Turd 2 shares the same ideological divisiveness as Turd 1 is hardly surprising. To resign over such blatantly bigoted, divisive, supremacist views would require a modicum of character, to which Turd 2, like Turd 1, does not possess.

You have to love the different spin put out by various media outlets. Delacourt over at the Star, always one to come to the defence of the lefty cause, has piece out today where the headline reads “Justin Trudeau faces uproar for alleged anti-Alberta comments in 2010 interview”. So the message is not slamming Trudeau for what he said, but rather about what poor Justing is now facing for his comments. Poor justing is the victim being attacked here. Also, according to Delacourt, the comments are just “alleged”, not the very real and clear comments they are, documented in a media interview for all to hear, but simply “alleged”, as if, maybe, he didn’t really say it. What a pathetic outfit they are.

Yes, myself and others have been ripping her on Twitter about that as well as trying to link Sun News and the CPC as working in cahoots on this

How dare you demand that the second coming of chri….. Trudeau, be subjected to the same treatment as some plebe like mcguinty. You best watch yourself. I hear little JT has a temper and when he wrests power from the evil Harper, it’s infidels like yourself who will be targeted.

  10. LynnS Says:

Yah, I’m sorry. I don’t buy that Trudeau wasn’t angling for the leadership back then and therefore his comments don’t count. These little forays into pseudo-intellectual land were all part of the pre-game play.

I don’t see anything that he has done including chairing Katimavik; his little outburst in parliament; his ring time with Brazeau; his attempts to get in front of a camera at every opportunity and the sprinkling of fairy dust whenever he shows up at some other liberal’s campaign event, as anything more than his own personal trajectory for the liberal main event.

Starting with his entry into politics and the Liberal “youth” convention; the Pied Piper of Papineau has appealed to the basest interests among the most light-headed on the potential voter spectrum. High school boys whose main interest is getting high and those classy women eager beavers who follow him around offering to pay his way for the honor of a shave and an autograph.

As for all those Seniors doting on the dauphin? My folks gag every time they see a picture of Justin in a wheelchair

You know JT and his FedLibs cronies are in serious damage control mode when Heather Mallick springs to the defense of the man who would be King. And JT doesn’t have a photo-op with life long FedLib Christy Preem while in BC? Seriously, Dean, can you still keep a straight face and dry pants as you envisage JT talking to Bibi N about Hamas? Joker, joker and a Triple!
