Hugo Chavez net worth: Hugo Chavez was a Venezuelan politician who had a net worth of $1 billion at the time of his death on March 5th 2013. A 2010 report from Criminal Justice International Associates (CJIA), a global risk assessment and threat mitigation firm estimated that the Chavez family assets totaled between $1 and $2 billion USD. The vast majority of these assets are oil related and were controlled by Hugo himself prior to his death. The head of the CJIA, Jerry Brewer, asserted that since Hugo’s rise to power in 1999, the extended family has amassed its fortune through both legal and illegal methods. Brewer further estimates that the Chavez family and hundreds of other criminal organization have “subtracted $100 billion out of the nearly $1 trillion in oil income made by PDVSA (Venezuela’s state controlled oil company), since 1999.”
When the poor and innocent souls wake up and realize that they had been used ‘only’ for politican power’ by Chavez; the crowd will rise in fury. When they begin to see what they have been subjected to not for their own rise to wealth but to poverty controlled by Chavez while he lived off their own country’s wealth from the oil revenues, his own family and close friends and the media which he controlled with an iron fist and other close buddies of his will no doubt seek exile somewhere before the ‘rise of fury’ against them-will come.
When Chavez made the mistake of saying ‘let the rich pay’ is the day the rich removed their monies out of Venezuela while they continue living in Venezuela.
It’s comments like this that makes me glad the NDP are losing support. The Liberals are a lesser evil. Heaven help us if the NDP replaces the Tories instead of the Liberals, since no party in Canada, including the Alberta Tories will reign forever. I say that and I’m not even religious to give you an idea how scared I am if the NDP somehow manage to form the government. It’s bad enough they’re the Official Opposition. Hugo Chavez worked and donated to AlQueda. He also supported Hamas and Hezbollah. His allies includes Bashar Al Assad, Mahmoud Ahminedjad, Kim Jong-Il, Moammar Gaddafi, and Fidel Castro. It’s not surprising though.
