In the wake of the horrific Boston Marathon bombing, Liberal leader and prime ministerial hopeful Justin Trudeau said it would be helpful to look at the root causes. The root causes of a mindless, senseless, indiscriminate and despicable attack on innocent life. The root causes.

Here’s the thing about root causes: When looking at a problem in society—like obesity for instance— it’s sometimes helpful to look at what creates that problem. Discovering what leads to an undesirable trend can help slow or change it altogether. That sort of approach makes sense. (continue reading here)

    An excellent piece Dean. I wish the Liberals of Canada read and heed. But somehow I know they will decorate this article with their usual disdain.

    A well written article Dean.

    JT has demonstrated himself incompetent and disqualifies himself from leadership for the simple reason that he lacks moral clarity and judgment. JT has his ‘Neville Chamberlain’ moment.

    But then as Churchill once remarked, “An appeaser is one who feeds the crocodile hoping that it will eat him last.”
