Trudeau owes Winnipeg school officials a huge apology

trudeau 1

Liberal leader Justin Trudeau didn’t like it when he couldn’t get his own way when it came to using school kids as political props as he lashed out yesterday when his fawning media was not allowed to cover his appearance at a Winnipeg school:

“It’s unfortunate that someone at the board level decided that they needed to play politics and not highlight my visit there, but the conversation with the students was phenomenal.” (see here)

Turns out though that it was the Liberals who invited the media without the knowledge of the school:

Winnipeg School Division says Justin Trudeau’s visit to Sisler High School Thursday was never meant to involve the media.

The federal Liberal leader’s staff invited the media.

And it’s a province-wide policy:

No school division in Manitoba allows outside parties to invite the media into a school without the school division’s knowledge and approval. (see here)

Pretty telling that Trudeau’s first reaction was petulance but I guess that’s to be expected from someone who grew up with a silver-spoon in his mouth and is use to everyone doing what he wants.

Just watch him-make a fool of himself playing the bullied paranoid dillentante.
Why is the Conservative party spending money on ads when all they have to do is sit back and watch Mommy boy’s ego destruct any chance Justin make have had for relevancy to the everyday Canadian?

    • wilson Says:

      ‘bullied paranoid dillentante’
      You nailed it bocanut,
he sees things that aren’t there.

    • Ian Says:

He says he’s gone to that school every single time he’s visited Winnipeg over the past 8 years. Really? Is there something special about that school, that compels an MP from Quebec to visit it repeatedly? I would suggest that it’s the first time he’s been there. Hopefully someone will contact the school and check that out.

    • Enkidu Says:

The CPC has to buy ad space to highlight this ridiculous behaviour because the left wing Lame Stream Media (but I repeat myself) does their darndest to make sure it NEVER EVER comes to the attention of Canadians.

  2. Jen Says:

. Justin is the mp for Papineau not Winipeg or alberta or ontario or maritimes. This IS the second time he is circling canada making speeches on issues that has no relevance to the people of his riding-PAPINEAU, QB.
Truthfully, Justin loves Justin and only Justin.
Justin has not been in the HOC to debate lengthly on issues for almost TWO YEARS; he strikes me that he does not like been questioned nor debated with.
School teachers and students are busy at work to be disturbed by some out of province mp to talk about ‘what’?

Show is over Justin Trudeau- Get your ‘wealthy’ backside back to work in the ‘real’ world.

    • Ian Says:

He’s treating his position as an MP and the Leader of the Liberals as if he’s some type of celebrity. I’d like to know exactly who is paying for these trips. Us or the party. He should get his butt back to Ottawa and go to work like he’s being paid to. Being out on paid speaking engagements while the house is in session, is not his job.

  3. Michael Harkov Says:

This little foppish dilettante would rather tour the nation for his own exposure and being anywhere else rather than doing his job and representing his riding in Parliament. And it has been said that the Prime Minister is the one in perpetual campaign mode? What a joke.

    • Ian Says:

His excuse about wanting to thank Manitoba Liberals for their support during his leadership campaign is pretty weak. The House was in session and once again he was out doing what he does best, flapping his gums in public.

  4. Michael Harkov Says:

Trudeau utterly justified that school board`s point. The fact he claims that the exchange with the students was great is irrelevant; Trudeau’s petulant whiny bleating belie his real purpose – he wanted the students to be his backdrop for his photo-op and now he is crying that he didn`t get his pacifier……..full-stop..

Full props to the School Board for not giving in to this sucky little baby. Perhaps he will tattle to mommy and she can come in and give the mean school board a piece of her mind for being mean to her little boy.

  5. WTF Says:

At least he didn`t charge them his standard fee………he didn`t charge them right….

  6. Dirt Says:

Liberal media won’t report the story and the NP will blame Harper.

  7. Liz J Says:

Justin of Pi has said Quebecers are better than the rest of Canadians, so,wondering how he squares that one when he’s smiling and making nice nice as he travels across the country trying to get people to know him and love him?

Since there’s no election for some time, we have a majority government, Justin should be showing up for work representing his beloved people of Papineauville PQ. The media party will give him lots of positive coverage across the land when the election rolls around.

  8. Dave B. Says:

Trudeau is mining for votes for an election he might win. Hence, he’s campaigning to a bunch of 8 year olds for an election 10 years out.

  9. Sean M Says:

Isn’t it rich when this spoiled egomaniac accuses everyone else of “playing politics” just because he doesn’t get what he wants. Who’s he kidding? We’re all supposed to believe this stupid phony is above politics while all he does is campaign his “celebrity”. The Liberals are smart to keep their boy/man out of the HOC though, mainly because Turd 2 is an absolute train wreck, even with an adoring, fawning media lobbing soft ball questions at him, he’s still completely out of his depth. Better to take his “show” on the road giving vacuous speeches to captive students.

  10. LynnS Says:

“The conversation was phenomenal!” Giving a speech isn’t a conversation. It’s a one way dialogue with applause at the end. I imagine he felt phenomenal in front of all those high school kids. No doubt he will add the numbers for this captive audience to his statistics on the number of people he has met and conversed to boast about in Question Period. Of course, the difference is that the PM has been in the HOC working instead of campaigning.

Trudeau didn’t charge for his time as per usual on the speaking tours; but apparently it’s not quid pro quo when it comes to using High School students for a political backdrop without anyone’s knowledge.

It doesn’t come as a surprise to me that he would use someone else’s kids this way. .

  11. Stan Says:

So what was his reason for being there?
To help the kids with some sage advice or to allow the media to give him another tongue bath by reporting he was there to give the kids some sage advice?
If he was there to help the kids, why would it matter if the media were there?

    • Ian Says:

Obviously he wasn’t there to simply meet with the students. If that were the case he would care less about the media being there. I love that he’s a spoiled brat because there’s lots of time before the next election for him to show canadians what he’s all about.

  12. wilson Says:

In the pic above, see the sign…. ‘Justin’, is that a TM of INC behind his name?
Or is the only mention of Liberal the leaf.

  13. Jen Says:

Didn’t Justin say : “I always say, if there came a point where I thought Canada really was Stephen Harper’s Canada, that we were against abortion, against gay marriage, that we went backwards in 10,000 different ways, maybe I’d consider making Quebec a country. Oh yes. Absolutely. I know my values very well, even if I no longer recognized Canada.”

Quebec never signed on to the Constitution.

  14. Jen Says:

from Trudeau’s own lips in an interview a while back in Quebec “QUEBECERS ARE BETTER BECAUSE WE ARE QUEBECERS”
That is why Trudeau is out here in the West to remind us Neantherdals of his devout committment to Quebec.
