Audio: NDP’s Mulcair lies about never being offered bribe

Sun News has the audio of Brian Lilley asking NDP leader Thomas Mulcair in 2010 on whether he had ever been offered any cash bribes by Laval mayor Gilles Vaillancourt (listen here).

This is all coming to head after Mulcair admitted the bribe attempt did indeed happen when he finally revealed this week (see here) that he had told the police about it in 2011, well after denying it to the media.

Since the liberals and the ndp have become kissing cousins through their signatures on the coalition agreement; the msm have to protect both parties from us. which I think Mulcair expects to get the same ‘pet’ treatment as they (media) have shown towards the liberals for decades.
OR else, every dark news of the liberals which the msm refuse to highlight and discuss on air or on TV for example: The 56 billion dollars EI which the liberals squandered with but made us repay it by raising the premiun rates for us to cover the liberals’ ass will come forward like a ton of bricks by the ndp.
So, to avoid having to being exposed by the ndp the media would just to continue with the floor show…. protect Mulcair

Perhaps Our Tommy has forgotten that the media now have a new shiny, handsome Hero, Little Pierre, and Tom is no longer trendy.

Liberal and NDP lies just don’t warrant much notice, they slough them off, it’s only the Conservatives who are held to a higher account by the slugs in the media to feed their agenda to get rid of Conservatives wherever they may be in the political realm. That could be Municipal, provincial or federal. The Leftist crazies in Toronto are an extreme example for the Municipal level as they keep making up stories about Ford, hell even our own CBC brazen hussy Walsh couldn’t resist going after him.
It’s a miracle we get anyone to serve in politics, at least without a thick skin and maybe even a suit of armor to protect from the crazies.

I emailed the audio link to nationalnewswatch, we’ll see if the site puts it up.
Msm is being protective of the Liberal’s future coalition partner, imo.

  4. Ian Says:

Of course he’ll explain this away by saying,
“I never said that I said I was offered money, or saw any envelope with cash. I saw an envelope but don’t know what was in it”, or some such rot.

  5. Jen Says:

Sen. Pamela Wallin has stepped down as senator for the cpc. She too was a journalist for the CBC. therefore imo, saw what the media is doing.
If she and Duffy had been liberal senators-no noise would be made.

It’s hard to know much about Quebec politics and what makes them tick but for sure Mulcair owes his residency in Stornoway to the voters of Quebec. Many of those who voted Bloc apparently switched to NDP, Mulcair had better not count on a repeat with kid Trudeau now in the mix.

    • Jen Says:

Mulcair may not count on Trudeau for anything but he sure as hell will use Trudeau , the lpc and the media to get what he Mulcair wants.
Remember the ndp/libs/bloc coalition signed agreement? Well that will come into use by the ndp.
Also, Trudeau had said that he will join the NDP and or the separatist party to separate from us outsiders (ROC).
Will the media join those two in Quebec- for Quebec or, will they stick around in ROC like scared idiots?

I see no reason to believe Mulcair lied about accepting a bribe.

And I believe, as Ezra Levant stated, that Tommy chose to carry on with his burgeoning career rather than blow the whistle and forever be a pariah in Quebec politics.
A Socialist is very pragmatic when it comes to saving HIS ass,and traditionally will do whatever it takes to help himself.

I want to keep Tom right where he is, Leader of the Split-left Party, and will vigorously defend him on Conservative blogs.
