Collecting money to track down Jack Layton’s hooker

layton massage velvet touch

After witnessing the death of Canadian journalism when the Globe and Mail sent out two of its reporters (for over a year) to dig into the Rob and Doug Ford’s family – uncovering alleged hash deals from the 80s (see here) and the media collecting money for the alleged Rob Ford crack video (see here), the idea of the Media Party having spent equal time unearthing the prostitute that NDP leader Jack Layton used while a Toronto city councillor cropped up in conversation.

Many in the media were fully aware of the Layton massage parlour story as it had been shopped around by Liberal operatives:

Andrew Coyne – “Actually, somebody did tell me a couple of months ago this was floating around”

Jonathan Kay – “For those who care, someone tried to shop me the Layton-massage story 2 yrs ago (without docs). It was a Liberal fixer”

Yet they all collectively spiked it and even when Sun News finally revealed it, Layton’s defenders in the Media Party came out to condemn and/or ridicule the story:

Andrew Coyne – “I guess all I can say is I’d rather be caught naked in a massage parlour than fully clothed working for SunNews”

Kady O’Malley – “This is not an official police report but a contemporaneous account by the source”

Now, imagine the Media Party’s reaction if I were to set up an on-line collection system to hire a private investigator in order look into who Layton’s hooker was and her connections in the prostitution and possible immigrant human-trade underworld.

They would support me right?

Is Coyne and O’Malley an expert on hookers?
    Just saying.

  2. LynnS Says:

What on earth is a “liberal fixer”?

  3. Alain Says:

Actually a private investigator digging up dirt on these “reporters” would probably be more effective. I am sure there is plenty of dirt to be found and exposed. A taste of their own medicine would be good for them.

Ooohhh….imagine pics of journos drunk and/or doing drugs….

      • Liz J Says:

Now how would we get a “fixer” to give them a taste of their own dirt? Are there no ethical lines these so called journalists won’t cross ?
What they’re doing to Rob Ford is unprecedented, surely it’s got to have consequences.

I’ve always been curious about Jack’s predilection for young Registered Massage Therapists. I believe the young lady in question is probably in her late 20’s by now and gainfully employed as a researcher for the NDP.

Fire up the kickstarter campaign, get 5′, SDA and the BT’s to advertise it and lets show the Laurentian Press Gallery what happens when mass communications rests in the hands of the people and not our “intellectual betters”.

    My paypal is standing by.

  6. Pissedoff Says:

If these reporters, and I use the term lightly, can use innuendo and insinuation, which is all this fairy tale is, then can we by insinuation assume the Justin mentioned in the initial blurb is Trudeau? After all he has stated he wants to legalise drugs.

I like the concept — The only positive thing it could do is open the door to a review of contemporary mass media and the levels it has sunk to. That is not even a given and is wishful thinking. Look how fast they burried the Layton story under “professional journalism” and “liberal smear job” in the closing days of the last Federal election. The best thing to do is to expose the hypocracy as the mass media will not pick it up.

I bet you the “liberal” cop no doubt has the hooker’s name as his/her notes would reflect all people found on the premises. Actual police records may actually list her as found being on the premises.

I suspect the Liberals do not want to help Rob Ford as they are probably hoping to run a moderate candidate against Ford to draw lefty votes that many people who would not vote for Chow and to regain power somewhere where they can acess the trough — their feeding grounds have been radically deminished. Remember it was Smitherman, an ex-provincial Liberal cabinet minister that was seen as the main competitor against Ford and he lost — big time.

Chow has her own scandals including her disciple Mr. Chaleff-Freudenthaler, alleged orchestrator of the multiple lawsuits and audits against Mayor Rob Ford and Chow/Layton living in high-end public housing (at subsidized rent) despite nice excessive wages. Also her mother complained voraciously the first day of private garbage collection — funny it was a marked improvement in service and is marked by an absence of abuse that taxpayers used to receive regularly from these civic unionized employees. I cannot even describe the abuse of leaving garbage on the street, using the truck to block traffic on the streets, multiple garbage strikes and pension plans paid for the city (aka taxpayer) that exceeded most professionals I know (except teachers).

Dig into Mr. Chaleff-Freudenthaler and see what deep secrets he may have. I suspect there are many.

Count me in, I’d also donate to hire a PI to investigate liberal media urnalists.

  9. Bubba Brown Says:

I would kick in a buck or two for that, I would also like Jack’s expenses audited to see if the tax payers were footing the bill for the rub and tug.
I also want to know how Jack and Oliva were able to both claim full amount for their housing in Ottawa.
When those two were claiming over a million a year in expenses there is something stinky.
That is over 3000 dollars a day 7 days a week 365 days a year, did they ever sleep?

dig deep. They were experts as using public resources.

In toronto layton run up humoungous limo charges — but he technically never used the limos — he used the limos to carry his files while he rode behind in a bycicle — why he never used a carrier on the back of his bike or even a trailer — hell I do not know — I think he was sticking it to the taxpayer as a principle.

      Time for payback.

Last post — Why did Jack Layton appoint Nycole Turme as the interim leader of the NDP prior to his death and new election of a leader. Nycole Turme was the leader/head of the PSAC (Public Service Alliance of Canada) which was also a member of the Quebec Solidaire — well which has it roots in the UFP which was a marxists — leninist party — I thought red was dead.

I’ll gladly put in a few dollars. I hate what is being presented as news. Can we not find out about McWynnety?

  12. ctalkcanada Says:

I would support it. Great piece.

  13. Liz J Says:

Jack and Olivia were a great team. Olivia told us she always knew where Jack was. She apparently knew where he went for his “massage”. I suppose for a guy riding a bicycle as much as he was purported to have done he might have needed to get some circulation going in some areas on a regular basis and this particular place filled the bill.
It’s not about what politicians do in private life, it’s about preaching about always doing the right thing by the less fortunate as the NDP like to do then take advantage of a “service” by some possibly disadvantaged young women in a seedy part of a town and denying they knew what it was.

Jack Layton has been made some kind of hero, movie and all, it’s not hard to imagine what kind of bum he’d be portrayed had he been Conservative.

  14. Ian Says:

So not only does that article throw around these allegations about the Fords, but also is saying that the reason why the police have no files associated to them is because obviously the Fords have bribed them. Very dangerous and unethical journalism. How can anyone not see that a witch hunt is going on here. Also where did the Globe find these “sources” anyway. Did someone take out an ad in the local lefty rag asking for people to come forward (for payment) if they had any nice juicy stories about the Fords. Just like the ad back in April looking for a Rob Ford lookalike to film a comedy skit in Toronto for 1 day.

    • Liz J Says:

Key word there is “comedy” skit, proof positive all they’re interested in is making a fool of the man as part of their pile on. If they can’t find enough real dirt they’ll resort to attempts at comedy. Could that have been a cover for a future plan for extortion, who can really know for sure?

  15. Lyn Says:

What? Saint Layton and Mother Chow? 🙂 YES, PLEEEASE get the ball rolling, my wallet is ready!
