National Post’s Andrew Coyne calls Conservatives ‘indecent human beings’

Andrew Coyne

I can’t imagine any Conservative keeping their National Post subscription after seeing how their top columnist Andrew Coyne despises ‘you’ on such a personal level:

coyneThis is from the same guy who tells people to “fuck off” on Twitter and makes jokes about Luke Magnotta murder victims (see here) so we as Conservatives need no lessons from the likes of him on what it is to be “decent human beings”.

Of course Liberal-voting Coyne didn’t acknowledge this example of our humane decency which made me especially proud yesterday to be Conservative:

sheldon kennedy

Up yours Coyne.

agreed – go join “strombo” nation, and enjoy high taxes and endless bs, and, above all, STOP lecturing us about lieberal glories, from one side of your mouth, while preaching fiscal conservatism out of the other – am sooooo close to dropping my Post subscription

  2. manitoba fay Says:

Andrew Coyne working hard to cover up the mess the Liberals have made in Ontario by attacking the success of the Conservative government in Canada.

  3. Liz J Says:

Well, since I consider myself to be a Conservative and therefore not a “decent human being” perhaps Coyne can excuse me when i tell him in the parlance of one of his heroes, Pierre Trudeau, to fuddle duddle off.

  4. wilson Says:

This is what happens when you become a CBC payee, they all eventually assimilate into the CBC mentality of holding themselves superior to Conservatives.
Coyne has become one of the CBC Borg Collective (Star Trek)

    • gerry from gta Says:

I agree the vast majority have joined the borg.

Hate to say that but you are correect. They want to destroy all that do not belong to the collective.

So how does one fight this mentatity?

      I want to know.

  5. Bubba Brown Says:

Hmmmm…… Andrew Coyne does not like me.
I can certainly live with that, and can certainly do without Mr Coyne and his dead tree fish wrap posing as a newspaper.
I have been called far worse by far, far better people to also quote the late, unlamented Senior Trudeau.

  6. gerry from gta Says:

My father canceled his subscription to the Toronto Red Star over their continuous hate-filled coverage of Mayor Rob Ford and Prime Minister Stephen Harper. The Toronto Star is hurting in lost subscriptions thus revenue. They have gone to giving out free papers at coffee shops to inflate their circulation figures.

It is the only way to send a message to the traditional media.

Just wish the proposed selecting channels on cable would allow one to deselect the CBC. I would.

  7. Sean M Says:

Coyne no doubt believes himself to be “superior” to pretty much everyone, I think thats called pathological narcissism, or at least delusional. Either way, I’ve never known Coyne to be right about anything, especially anything regarding politics. He votes Liberal, his political hero is Pierre Trudope, he believes Conservatives should be “punished” for taking away jail terms and fines for not filling out the census, he thinks the CBC should be “privatized”, but collects a pay check from them in the meanwhile. The guy’s a pompous, arrogant, hypocritical twit, a typical Liberal who speaks out of both sides of his mouth. As far as I’m concerned, Coyne’s opinions couldn’t be anymore irrelevant, his noxious blathering is what one would expect from a self important desperate Liberal voting fool, his blathering nonsense and brutal ignorance is only rivaled by the moron Coyne supports for PM, Trudumb, that intellectual skidmark thinks he’s better than everyone else too.

  8. Bec Says:

Andrew Coyne may as well have said” I know you are but what am I” because that’s the immaturity of this comment.

  9. Mary Hines Says:

But do you “notice” the glares the liberal panel gets when they step out of line and in any way say something that “might” reflect positive on the Conservative Government. Peter sure isn’t long getting that stick out and pointing…. that their pay will be taken away if they don’t bash the Conservatives… the “lady” on the panel use to be pretty correct… but now, if she isn’t bashing the Government, even she can’t stay “still”…

    • Jen Says:

In other words the panel have to leave their own personal opinion OUTSIDE the fort of CBC, to follow exactly what is dictated to them by cbc.
It is not difficult for any of us to detect who works for CBC. Your highly intelligent answers floats above them.

  10. morri Says:

Andrew suffers from a deficit. it is between his ears.

  11. Jen Says:

    OT,
What in the hell is wrong with PAM PALMETER creating a hell hole for the Aboriginal people who for many only want to live in peace.

  12. TangoJuliette Says:

Gotta give it to Coyne. Tieless, Dauphin style dress shirt, top two-buttons undone, and a a language twist that really makes Andy’s phrase so far less reprehensible than that mean old nazzie label “untermensch,” [sub-humans,] that was so de riguer1945.
    >sarc off<

  13. dddddancetotheradio Says:

I once read a comment on Coyne a few years back that said he made his career out of pretending to be a conservative columnist whose ‘on the other hand’ way of straddling the fence on any issue made him anything but.
He permanently scotched himself from the list of people whose opinions I’ll consider reading after his flimsy endorsement of the Liberals during the last election.

  14. Maryls Says:

Oh dear. I have already dropped the Globe and the Ottawa Citizen because of their biased garbage coverage, I would hate to drop the Post also. They do still have some good columnists — plus their political cartoon guy is really good. Coyne’s comment is stupid. He undermines his own credibility, but probably does not care what conservatives think.

  15. Chris Says:

Who is this Andrew Coyne? Sounds like a total goof. Only a Torontonian would get the National Post. Nothing national about it.
