Con MP tells Star reporter to shove threatening letter about Rob Ford where the sun doesn’t shine

The letter Conrad Black referred to in his scathing column about the Toronto Star’s “ideological shakedown” (see here) surfaced today (see above) after Conservative MP Peter Kent responded to reporter Marco Oved on his website (read here).

The rest of the Media Party will be demanding John Hendrich apologise for abusing his position as Star publisher or step down right?

    WOW!!
If this doesn’t expose the entire culture of cruddy journalism, I don’t know what ever will.

They are mean bullies, who for me anyway, a person who loves a well written, well stated piece of research, gave up on.

For this letter to have been approved is mind boggling and heads should roll but they won’t because these people actually BELIEVE that THEY have a right to CONTROL things to fit their ideology.
That is precisely what makes them impotent as journalists and morons as human beings.

  2. Pissedoff Says:

Best response to a bunch of bullying dipsticks.

  3. Bubba Brown Says:

A great response, thank you MP Peter Kent!

Well-said, MP Peter Kent, and kudos for not giving in at all to the solicitous wiles of this coyote brand of Red Star rogue reporter. Coercive and unprofessional tactics are now the norm of the main media maggots, be they moles or accredited, in stark contrast to the noble job you and many of your colleagues did during your time in the media world. Your answer was perfect, in content and timing. The oppressive ideologues, such mavericks in their own minds, have the cavalier attitude (among their sense of entitlement) that they have that right to impose and intimidate their wayward doctrines on the rest of us. I’m also glad that Conrad Black will have none of it. We appreciate such assistance in exposing these hypocrites who cultivate resentment and dissension, while exalting themselves in their falsely-perceived superiority.

I just wish he would have said something about that place where the sun doesn’t shine. Apart from that a pretty good response.

  6. Cindi Says:

Kudos to Peter Kent. It’s about time people stood up to the Tor. Star and it’s yellow underhanded tactics, thinly disguised as ‘journalism’.

  7. Liz J Says:

Thanks Peter, that’s a smack down with class.

  8. Mike McB Says:

Strangely, I can’t find this being reported on any of the major MSM websites. Peter Kent was on the Bill Carrol show yesterday but that’s about it.
