iPolitics columnist quotes ex-CAW union boss “Harper is the worst fucking dictator I’ve ever seen.”

harris

How much of a lunatic do you have to be in order to quote the former Canadian Auto Worker union president saying this?:

To inject a little 3D into my prose, Ken Lewenza, former union leader, used the word to describe the PM in an interview with me: “Harper is the worst fucking dictator I’ve ever seen.”

And added to the list of people Michael Harris says think PM Stephen Harper is a dictator are:

– Gerry Nichols

– Andrew Coyne

– Preston Manning

– Michael Chong

– Brent Rathgeber

– Inky Mark

– Jim Prentice (see here)

I’ll be interested to see who contacts Harris to correct and remove their names from his insane column and who remains silent and allows them to stand.

  1. Bubba Brown Says:

Well who is this guy anyway?
Looks a little rough around the edges.
It’s not like that evil controlling PM Harper fired all his Senators without any consultation.
PM Harper did also not express his admiration for a Regime that murdered eighty million of it’s own people.
Wait a minuite, that was Nathalies imaginary friend pretending to be an imaginary Leader.
It will be interesting to see who stands with this fine example of Union brotherhood and progress.

    • Michael Harkov Says:

Or laugh about a murderous regime starting a war over a poor sport’s performance.

  2. Paul Says:

    A has-been that never was…
Sorta like a tree falling in the forest…
More like a fart in a wind storm.

  3. Michael Harkov Says:

And added to the list of people that can likewise be termed “dictators” –

    – Pol Pot
    – Hitler
    – Stalin
    – Mugabe
    – Idi Amin
    – Baby Doc

Now these idiotic union hacks calling Prime Minister Harper a “dictator”, especially “the worst dictator”, is just beyond childish and stupid beyond description. Why ANYONE would pay union dues to have these wastes of skin represent them is unfathomable.

    • Steve o Says:

Mike He looks a bit like a troll who lives in his mothers basement and should clean himself and his room up!!! Steve O

  4. Liz J Says:

What kind of lunacy is this from Harris? Wonder if those on his list were expecting to be “outed”

  5. Bubba Brown Says:

As a life long Union guy, IWA, Steelworkers, PPWC, Boilermaker.
Bottom line my Boss is there for the same reason I am, to make money, he deserves a profit from his investment.
I deserve a fair wage for a fair days work.
I will say these public sector Unions have about as much resembalance to democraticly run Unions as all the folks mentioned by Michael Harkov do to funcitional democracys such as ours.
Unions in the public sectors are like fire. a good servant, and a very bad master.

  6. TGM Says:

    But, hey, he’s right…
Harper is a lousy dictator. Now Chretien, on the other hand…

  7. Bec Says:

NONE of the recognizable names would publicly say what this tutti fruiti has alleged. Besides that, HE IS NOT a DICTATOR and if any of these people feel intellectually, emotionally or politically challenged, THEY could talk to the man himself and would.

Being a LEADER is not always a fun thing and often made less entertaining because of idiots who DO NOT like you. Sometimes those idiots just do the trash talk because that’s what they do best. (Blogging Tories has picked up a few grumpy bloggers like this..;)
I can guarantee that NO WAY has this guy got most of THESE people saying anything close to the word “dictator”. No way!

  8. Justine Says:

If I say that I admire Harper’s basic dictatorship, will I get a pass? 😉

  9. Martin Says:

Odd how the same Liberals making these accusations, positively revere Trudeau Sr. Yet it was he who transformed the PMO into a cabal of close advisors, bypassing cabinet on many occasions. Most Canadians never heard of the PMO before Trudeau’s time. As for MPs, they were “nobodies” away from Parliament Hill.
Decisions made by Trudeau Sr and Jr constitute bold decisive leadership, when PM Harper does it it is dictatorship.

  10. bertie Says:

Harris used to be on CFRA radio and had such a hate on for PM Harper that it probably got him fired. What an *******. Harris is someone who thinks he has a following because he wrote a book.He is more to be pitied than listened too.

    • Liz J Says:

Right bertie, his hatred for PM was visceral and it oozed out on the airwaves. I suspect he got fired because of ratings, he may have done better in Toronto. People who cannot control their hatred soon have it turn on them, they become sorrowful, pathetic figures.

In politics we all have our biases, we may poke fun from time to time and criticize but it’s not a hatred that takes us over. We can disagree with and critique what we see as shortcomings in the Liberal leader or any leader in this democracy but we don’t hate the individuals. We are merely concerned about who and where a certain leader will take our country, that’s being responsible.

As for Trudeau, he and Sophie and their children are I’m sure a nice young family, wish them all the best, but don’t think he’s ready for the job he and his pushers in the LPC are trying to foist on this country.

  11. Stan Says:

“Harper is an evil dictator, let’s get rid of the gun registry and give him all our guns!”

    Liberal logic 101….

  12. Bubba Brown Says:

Yes, well the basic contradicition of a foppish “leader” who I must admit Liz J I do not hate.
He is his fathers son, singing from the same commie song book.
That Mr Muclair is already talking coalition is no suprise.
Jacks attempted coup is still in play my friends.
No I learned long ago to hate the sin not the sinner.
There are large forces at play in this Canada, the nabobs at the RCMP are trying to rule by fiat through the bureaucracy.
The MM are howling about each and every dust mite, real or imagined, while ignoring the stumps and lumps falling off the Liberal little red clown car driven by Justhin with his big “L” stuck on the back.
Really what else have they got?
Justhin is a walking punch line, insensetive, callous and at best has an infantantile understanding of anything beyond the borders of Quebec.
That his imaginary friend “Nathalie” is from La Belle Provieance is no suprise.
Can you imagine her being “Nancy” with a real job working at Fort Mac?
If I have a nightmare it would be the three amigos forming a coalition of losers with the Seperatistas in the cat-bird seat.
Quebec is still in shock that the last election we did not need their votes for a majority.

    • Liz J Says:

It will be interesting to hear how Justin reacts to Separatist Queen Pauline with a majority government in the province he represents in the HOC. How would he propose to deal with it when Polly comes demanding ever more handouts a la equalization that won’t affect support from the ROC? All these questions need to be asked but the maggot media wouldn’t dare, they know he has no answers.

  13. Dave Says:

Ken Lewenza, influenza. Hmmm, still you’re always glad when it’s gone!

  14. Liz J Says:

Just thinking, if Polly the Seppie wins her majority in Quebec and all goes well it may be tough for Justy to garner huge support there which he’ll need to win the throne he seeks. PM Harper won his majority without Quebec.
