CBC’s Mark Kelley acting as moderator at mining convention

The brouhaha over Peter Mansbridge giving a speech at an oil conference (see here) hasn’t stopped Mark Kelley from moderating in Vancouver at the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum convention (see here).

As a member of CBC’s The Fifth Estate (see here) the list of exhibitors Kelley would be in a conflict of interest if he reported on any of them is massive (see here) as I’ll safely assume he isn’t doing this for free.

CBC think they are neutral, they think they represent Canadian interests and their employees are simply performing a news service at the expense of all taxpayers. Why wouldn’t they, no government will call them out on anything they do, including the present one.

……..AND MORE, BOTH MEN HATE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT IN THIS COUNTRY ESPECIALLY IN THE WEST. CONSIDER THEIR POLITICS.

    Mark Kelley is likeable.
Even though I often disagree with what comes out of his mouth.
I just have the feeling that there’s a little Krista Erickson in him somewhere.
Unlike the others at the CBC who make me consider installing plexiglass in front of my tv.

I thought Mark Kelley got fired last year
