Green Party leader says fracking by Encana poisoned drinking water
May 24, 2014 — BC Blue
The Green Party had better hope their leader Elizabeth May has ironclad proof this drinking water was poisoned after she libelled Encana with the above tweet.
If this is true it will be the first time since fracking started that it has poisoned drinking water. A historic event. Check out Ezra Levant’s debunking of Gasland.
“No suds from soap and shampoo”…. oh the horror. Welcome to rural living and using well water. Pretty near anybody who’s not on a municipally treated water system faces this.
And “the dogs back away from water bowl”… if it’s hard water, good chance it has a sulphur smell/taste to it. I’d back away too.
Someone should educate Lizzy on hard water. What a fracking idiot.
First of all, Alberta has ‘OILSANDS’ but according to May and others have called it Tar sands.
Since Suzuki, Gore know how to conserve energy and have told us to do the same we should follow their wordings: Suzuki has three homes-you can have the same-it is called conserve energy
Suzuki flies around the world using oil-so can you- it is called conserve energy.
Suzuki has a business-so can you- it is called conserve energy.
Al Gore has mansions -so can you- it is called conserve energy
Al Gore has a jet that uses oil- so can you- it is called energy saving.
Elizabeth May uses oil that comes into BC from Opec countries-yet she wants to shut down our country’s own OILSANDS.
As Elizabeth May said on National Television ‘Canadians are stupid’
For years and years my grandparent’s farm had the best tasting water in the region. People would come to the farm and take 5 gallons home with them for their tea. One day the well casing rusted through and since it was old casing the well had to be re-drilled. The drill rig arrived and the work was accomplished. Within days the water began to smell of sulphur smell which only got worse until the water was running brown. It would seem that the well drilling company brought the anaerobic bacteria known as iron bacteria on the rig and ruined the well. Shock treatment and reverse osmosis was not enough to get rid of the plague. Years later natural gas was found about a mile from the house and the gas well was fracked but there was no change in the water.

Another over-the-top outburst to garner some badly needed attention or fodder for litigation, gotta be one or the other.

I think someone is about to discover that tweets aren’t considered made from the floor of the House of Commons.
