There’s a liberal gab-fest going on today in Ottawa called the Canada 2020 where the Media Party were all excited because Liberal leader Justin Trudeau was there giving a speech. Problem for these Liberal shills, it went horribly, horribly wrong:
This of course is right after Trudeau had a hissy-fit over Sun News’ Ezra Levant calling his dad a “slut” (see here) but in his tiny brain, Trudeau can’t see how making ‘dick jokes’ about our military isn’t cool.
Now think about any Media Party member still defending Trudeau as a serious candidate for Prime Minister after today.
Correction: “Trudeau made the off-colour joke during a brief question-and-answer session with journalist Don Newman at the Canada 2020 conference.” (see here)

PET was a Nazi helmet wearing poofter during WW2,
Bozo believes his allegedly physically abusive daddy had the pulse of the nation, hence the childish drivel.
October 2, 2014 at 9:15 AM
Trudeau is a silly little boy, in a “man’s” body. Peter Pan doesn’t mind throwing a slap or two, but he really can’t handle getting them back. The idea of Trudeau being Prime Minster is about the most sick and twisted joke, I could imagine!
October 2, 2014 at 9:15 AM
when Trudeau becomes a joke like this, it’s time for the Liberal Party to find a new leader…..time to resign Justin….a disgrace to our Country
October 2, 2014 at 9:16 AM
Mr. Justin Trudeau: Please, do the right thing, and stand down as the leader of “The Liberal Party of Canada!”
October 2, 2014 at 9:38 AM
not much hope for Justin as PM when everyone thinks he’s a joke
October 3, 2014 at 2:49 AM
brain dead liberals will embrace the child.
October 2, 2014 at 9:17 AM
I was just thinking…..it’s a shame Trudeau can’t whip out his brain, and show us all how incredibly small it is.
October 2, 2014 at 9:27 AM
It appears that Justin is his father’s son.
There is no doubt in my mind that this is the way Justin heard his father Pierre refer to the Canadian military!
October 2, 2014 at 9:28 AM
Mr. Don Newman: Please, find another profession, because doing interviews is not one of your strong points. The interview with Mr. Justin Trudeau, was just as lame, as the guest you were interviewing!
October 2, 2014 at 9:31 AM
Newman proving what a Lefty liberal shill he always was
October 2, 2014 at 11:38 AM
Has Newman come out of retirement or was there no one else Liberal enough they could trust to interview the chosen one?
Trudeau is showing more and more how unfit he is for the Office the Liberals and their Media Party flank are desperately trying to force on this country. He’s beyond unfit, he’s a disgrace.

Newman sits on this Lefty group’s board

This 42 year old man is a weakling. i can see him sitting in a tent in the desert lapping up the ISIL complaints about root causes before they kill him. he’s an embarrassment to Canada and god forbid he assumes priministerial powers.
October 2, 2014 at 3:33 PM
JT is too damned stupid; to think out the consequences of his non decisions.
JT would prefer to invite the headhackers to tea and discuss the root causes of their alienation. Meanwhile the ISIS folks will carve him a new smile from ear to ear.
It is plainly obvious that JT would prefer the ‘comfy confines of the graveyard’ to understand ISIS deeply held beliefs. As his father before him donned the Pickelhaube during WWII to understand the “root causes of the SS”; JT will don the burka to understand the root causes of ISIS.
In this case, “True-Dope-ia” is well and truly a lost cause.
This grand philosopher poseur will be counting the stars in heaven long before he recognizes a valid mortal threat assessment. He, like the “Obama-Nation(tm)” would ignore 60% of his security briefings, only to discover too late, that they really do have a ‘hate on’ for you.
But then what should one expect from a drama queen who spends his waking hours contemplating an orthogonal world in another space time continuum?
A serious contender for the office of Prime Minister? Only in his enfeebled mind…

It’s nearly 5PM EDT and there’s nothing that I can find at cbcnews.ca. Scanned the entire page using the search term “Trudeau”. Only reference to a poll in which the Libs lead. Haven’t seen it reported on CBC News Network either. Seems they’re covering for Trudeau YET AGAIN! SNN, of course, is right on top of this one.
And correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t it Don Newman in the summer of 2010 (when SNN was in development) that questioned Kory Teneycke on the creation of SNN and asked if it can be “trusted” to do ALL the news stories? Yeah, Don… in retrospect a real knee-slapper if there ever was one.
And what will Evan Solomon do with this one? He’ll either not mention it or structure the segment where he goes to bat for Trudeau. Oh yeah and don’t forget to watch the twitter feed that that show posts at the bottom of the screen. I suspect an avalanche of tweets defending Justin and attacking the CPoC on the matter.
October 2, 2014 at 1:09 PM
Yup https://bcblue.wordpress.com/2010/09/21/newest-bluesky-team-member-don-newman-still-on-cbc/
October 2, 2014 at 3:05 PM
“And what will Evan Solomon do with this one? …”
Well, to be fair (please, don’t snicker) … Solomon did play the clip of Trudeau’s comment at least 3 or 4 times. During a segment with retired general Lewis Mackenzie, he asked the latter for his opinion and the latter called it an insult to the military.
What I keep wondering is why the Conservatives, every time opposition MPs start bleating about how poorly the Conservative government is supposedly treating its veterans, don’t remind those MPs they (both opposition parties) were ready to have our military tried as war criminals. All of a sudden they’ve developed such loving concern for the military!?!
October 2, 2014 at 5:40 PM
Gabby, this is a perfect example of how poorly the Conservatives are at defending themselves against such accusations. The Liberals gutted the military and the NDP are not high on having a military beyond peacekeeping.
October 3, 2014 at 3:19 PM
It was on the Star‘s front-page today with a supportive headline but body-copy that wasn’t very supportive (or at least quoted critics instead of burying it) so at least some Liberal-Left sources covered it.
October 2, 2014 at 1:30 PM
I wonder how Marc Garneau can continue to support the liberal leader Justin Trudeau after these comments. Was Marc Garneau a member of the air force??? A member of the brave Canadian air force that justin trudeau is making fun of???
I notice that John Mc Callum ( CTV) and Ralph Goodale ( CBC) are on the political shows today. Where is Marc Garneau??
October 2, 2014 at 3:58 PM
Garneau was a captain in the Navy
October 2, 2014 at 1:48 PM
Solomon did bring up the clip of Jr’s outrageous remark; guest Gen Lewis MacKenzie stated correctly, that it was an insult to Canada’s fighting forces.
Not much argument there, but this is exactly what we have come to expect from him. Nothing would change were he to be in a position of power. Canadians would be wise to reflect on this.
October 2, 2014 at 1:51 PM
As expected, an avalanche of tweets defending Justin and attacking conservatives on Trudeau’s latest gaffe, no different from last Nov when the Lib leader was criticized for the so-called Ladies Night Out event and PnP’s fan base came to his defense.
And even during the Power Panel which is currently on, the pro-Trudeau tweets continue.
Don Newman AND Evan Solomon wonder if SNN would exist to cater to a conservative-friendly audience. Both men also dismiss accusations that the CBC has a bias.
It makes the CBC’s critics job easier when we don’t need to prove the state broadcaster’s bias but instead have their own loyal audience and twitter contributors do that for us.
October 2, 2014 at 2:33 PM
I would love to see Harper just stick it to both Mulcair and Trudeau by giving an address to the nation laying out his plans for combatting ISIS, the debate it in parliament. Take it to the people, not the press corps!
October 3, 2014 at 3:44 AM
And then round it all off by selling off the Politburo.. errr the CBC.
October 2, 2014 at 5:45 PM
Off topic but there’s now a case of suspected Ebola in a Toronto hospital. How many others has this person been in contact with?
Anyone know the status of the World Health Organization? If they still exist why wasn’t a ban on travel to and from the source of this now epidemic? Talk about governments and health officials being asleep at the switch, this is it.
October 2, 2014 at 6:40 PM
The root causes of Baby Truds immature insulting utterances… stupidity! I like to refer to these bozo eruptions as Zoolanderings… dutifully and diligently celebrated by Baby Truds biggest fans, the media.
October 3, 2014 at 2:40 AM
This is one “root cause” that’s right at the surface, it’s stunning stupidity and he keeps rolling it out. How seasoned journalists can sit and interview him without falling off their chairs in disbelief is symptomatic of their rabid hatred for anything Conservative and PM Harper in particular.
The Media party is joyfully updating us on the latest polls telling us this mental weakling and front man for the Liberals is steadily gaining and poised to win the next election. There are questions needed to be asked, if he wins can he govern or are we going to be at the mercy of a cabal of unelected like minded twits called a “brain” trust?
October 3, 2014 at 5:58 AM
I love the utter hypocrisy of Justin Trudeau questioning the validity of sending aging CF-18 fighter jets to fight ISIS when it was the Liberals and the NDP that complained about the Conservatives wanting to upgrade the RCAF fleet with new F-35 jets.
October 3, 2014 at 6:00 AM
Justin Trudeau probably suffers from PM envy. 🙂
October 3, 2014 at 6:02 AM
Justin Trudeau is a walking penis joke since he’s such a dickhead. It’s a disgrace that he’s the Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada.
October 3, 2014 at 8:06 AM
Wonder if Rick Mercer will have a penis figurine made up with Trudeau’s face painted on it like they did with Harper, the Prime Minister of this country? At least with Trudeau it would mean something, he’s acting like that’s where his brain/mind is.
October 3, 2014 at 7:30 AM
Someone related… Just more proof that the CBC doesn’t reflect broad-based public opinion. An Ipsos-Ried poll puts support for airstrikes at 64% while a CBC poll puts it at 20%. Obviously not a slight discrepancy in the differential.
http://www.cbc.ca/newsblogs/politics/inside-politics-blog/2013/05/power-politics-ballot-box-question-265.html
A scientific poll is going to randomly survey Canadians regardless of their political leanings wearas a CBC poll means the poll participants have to go to it to register their voices, thus giving you a pretty good idea of the types of people who make up their fan base and who actively participate in their political content.
I suspect if they conducted one of those PnP polls the day after Harper won a majority with 40% of the popular vote, asking Canadians if they like the results, 90% would have responded NO.
October 3, 2014 at 8:14 AM
Anyone notice that J.T. hasn’t visited any mosques lately, wonder why?
October 3, 2014 at 9:07 AM
Was Marc Garneau in his Liberal seat cheering on Justin Trudeau today??
October 3, 2014 at 10:54 AM
Justin Trudeau – “Canada has better things to offer than a few aging aircraft”
Retired RCAF Brigadier General Don Macnamara on the CBC:
“Mr. Trudeau’s comment was ignorant, ill informed an irrelevant. The CF-18′s are 30 years old, that’s true however they are constantly being upgraded and Mr Trudeau has despairaged all those who work to keep those planes ready to fight with his remarks.”
Ignorant, stupid, unappreciative, AND elitist. Truly, this arrogant little fop IS is father’s son.
October 3, 2014 at 11:10 AM
Do you have a link?
October 3, 2014 at 11:51 AM
I know Trudeau said this in the HOC today. I can’t remember if I heard General MacNamara response to this on CBC’s radio or CBC’s TV; I’ve been trying to get a link to it all day. If I don’t find it, someone else will surely find it.
October 4, 2014 at 4:28 AM
It was on CBC News now with Suhana Meharchand. Apparently she was doing the interview with the general after the leaders spoke. I’m not sure how to navigate their site to find a link.
October 4, 2014 at 6:00 AM
Thank you
October 3, 2014 at 11:55 AM
He’s good with the quips provided him by his so-called “brain trust” but he can’t answer the hard questions he knows he’ll get from SNN. He should have been asked what the better things Canada has to offer are, what would he have in mind?
Wonder if he even knows what this latest crop of Islamic terrorists are doing besides beheadings, burying babies alive, capturing young women and putting a price tag on them to sell them as sex slaves?
Trudeau is beyond contempt, he’s sullying the names veterans who fought for this country by cowering from fighting this scourge of the 21st century, none who I know would choose to tolerate these atrocities or negotiate with these monsters.
He’s a very stupid person, if he ever gets power it won’t come from real Canadians who believe in what this country was built on, it wasn’t the Islamist terrorism he’s prepared to ignore.
October 3, 2014 at 11:22 AM
Fay, if Marc Garneau can even sit in the HOC with Trudeau he has lost all his credibility and scruples, traded them in for the lowest of low which is where the Liberals are poised to take this country. How can he be part of this disgrace to Canada the LPC under this Charlatan is proving to be? It’s astounding, it’s beyond comprehension.
October 3, 2014 at 2:04 PM
Jesus …and CBC power and politics has the twit Katie O Malley on as the “EXPERT” on this issue….sticking up for god forbid the liberal pansy, unicorns and roses leader Trudeau…meanwhile, there has been another beheading.
October 3, 2014 at 2:28 PM
looks like Turdeau and Mulcair are looking for VOTES in Quebec for the Orange wave or the Red wave? This is a disgusting disgrace. The provincial premier of Quebec, Cullard is on side with prime minister Stephen Harper.Thank god for SOMEONE in Quebec who can see the seriousness of this combat mission… hell, even Liberal Romio Dullair is on side with PM Harper but of course we don’t hear from the Liberal hero now on CBC…we get Katie Omalley. What a joke our CBC is.
October 3, 2014 at 4:39 PM
Joan Bryden of Canadian Press –
“Prime Minister Stephen Harper is embarking on a combat mission in Iraq with no political cover should anything go awry.
Uh, isn’t that how real leaders are supposed to act; to be willing to do what is right even in the face of stark opposition?
Harper appeared to anticipate going it alone, telling the House of Commons: “I do this recognizing that in a democracy, especially one approaching an election, there is rarely political upside in supporting any kind of military action and little risk in opposing it.”
Exactly!

Trudeau shill Bryden working hard to help clean up his mess
October 4, 2014 at 7:26 AM
So we now know where the NDP and Liberals priorities lie and it certainly isn’t protecting the security of our Canada.
