The list of members of the Alberta NDP (see earlier post here) who would love to see that province’s economy crash keeps getting bigger:

Yup, the guy in the blue coat who marched in this “Council of Canadians Tar Sands Protest” is NDP leadership contender and MLA David Eggen:

But not a single Alberta Media Party member saw him at it right?

This new government scares hell out of me. Carbon and other taxes will ruin what remains of this carbon based enomy. And ithis govermment will be proud of it.

Ah yes. The Council of Canadians which would be more accurately named “Council of International Socialists – Canadian Chapter”

A lot of pink slips will be on employees desks. Companies and small businesses will simply leave. This should please NDP greatly that the oil sands will cease operations leaving behind thousands of unemployed people.

NDP Thomas Mulcair called our oil sands ‘Dutch disease’ , the very economy that keeps his social programs and unions alive. NDP Nathan Cullen wants to shut down the oil sands, pipelines and incoming tankards that bring oil for the people of BC and surrounding areas.
Yet those two morons and the rest of them bitch and complain when the price of oil is too low or too high.
Rachel Nutley has no idea who her mps are far less to carry out business with for Alberta.
I hope to visit the ndp office in my riding to ask them tough questions; provided that they can understand English.
Oooweeeeeoooooo earth to ndp how are you going to pay for your far out programs and union big shots if you turn off the tap to our economy?

The space-out reporters still in la la land? I guess those space-out reporters don’t mind losing their jobs. Come to think of it, they never did their job in the first place so losing their jobs would not mean anything to them.
Luckily for us, there is: Dean, Ezra, Daniel, JJ, Manny, Neil and many others who are most definitely grounded. Sheila can spin one of those la la reporters to Mars- probably they are already there.

Is electing an NDP majority in Alberta a leap pf faith or a leap of fate?
With Ontario on the skids and Quebec in perpetual have-not status, we have Alberta now in the hands of a party who are loaded with members and supporters against the engine that’s driving the economy of this country. We should all be on edge as this unfolds.

When A newly conservative candidate was campaigning, the media investigated him. Not so with either Quebec nap nor the Albertans nap. Both of them walk freely.
The only time Albertans who voted for the NDP, is when their bosses slam them with pink slips. Those employees who think just because they are unionized that businesses owe them jobs without batting an eyelid, are sadly mistaken. Look what GM did- they packed up and left. I do not see the unions coming to the aid of unemployed nor gave them back the dues.
