In 2012, NDP MP Charlie Angus quit Twitter:
“The Twitterverse, I don’t think, is a real place,” Angus said in an interview with CBC Radio’s local Ottawa morning show this week. “I haven’t seen any reflection that when something is trending on Twitter, (it) necessarily reflects what people are saying at Tim Hortons.” (see here)
Yet Angus couldn’t stay away and ironically it’s another Tim Hortons quote aimed at Conservative ministers that will land him in some serious hot water:
To call fellow Parliamentarians “batshit crazy” is beyond any acceptable political party boundaries and NDP leader Thomas Mulcair must force Angus to make a public apology and if he refuses, remove him from caucus.
