Video: Jack Layton wants to make sure he’s seen cheering for Canada

Check out NDP leader Jack Layton pushing the person’s arm out of his way so he can get seen on TV. What a media whore!

Thanks to Unambiguously Ambidextrous for the video

Update: Dutifully posted by Jane Taber “The TV screen was up there, he moved her arm to be able to see”… Karl Bélanger [Layton’s Press Secretary]…(see here)

Bwahahaha…the gal in front should have drilled him in the head and took two min.’s for elbowing…what a goof.

I saw that to. What a hypocrite cheering for the Canadian hockey team with french Canadian players who are proud to play for Canada yet wanting to form a coalition of losers with a political party who wants to tear up the country. Yikes.

  3. Cameron Says:

God, you know what would be worse? If he’d managed to get to sit next to Gretzky for every game

  4. Patrick Ross Says:

It would be funny as hell if the person had turned around and screamed “no means no, Jack Layton!”

He is pathetic. Imagine what it took for him to weasel his way over to the bar closest to the camera and stay there for 3 hours. He is not celebrating he is being totally opportunistic. I hated seeing him on that camera. Does he think we are that stupid..oh, geez what a coincidence..there is Jack Layton…what are the chances. This is the picture of a small shallow man. Instead of celebrating an authentic Canadian moment he and his wife are campaigning. What a total loser.

    Good one Patrick.

    What a loser!

Personally I think our success in these Olympic games is due to the powerful leadership of Stephen Harper. I am sure he will get (and fully desrves) a huge leap in the polls as he has done a fantastic job leading and inspiring our Canadian team. He was so right about suspending parliement so we could all watch the Olympics.

    • Patrick Ross Says:

      Frankly, that’s a stretch.

The success Canada had at the Olympics (as an event) was due to the hard work of VANOC. The success Canadian athletes had was due to their hard work.

Let’s be honest: Stephen Harper was a marginal player in the success of the games.
