New NDP leader Turmel card carrying Bloc member

For 5 years and right up to weeks before becoming a candidate for the NDP, Jack Layton’s personal pick as interim leader was a member of the separatist Bloc Québécois.

It’s inconceivable that the NDP back-room players didn’t know about this. All they have for a very lame defence is that she was only a member “to support a friend”.

We now have the lie exposed (which the media ignored) that Turmel was publicly supporting the Bloc (see here) in her role as leader of the country’s biggest public sector union because of “policy”.

Think about this for a sec… Smilin Jack knowingly installed a separatist as the Leader of Her Majesty’s Official Opposition. (see here)

Update: Turmel has now confirmed that Layton was “well aware” of her Bloc ties (see here)

Update: Turmel has also confirmed she is a member of the lunatic Quebec Solidaire whose nutbar leader is listed as an Honorary Endorser of Gaza boat and called the Royal’s “parasites”

They thought Harper was going to get another minority govt. Jack and his separatists would be in the drivers seat to bring Harper down…therefore…the Separatists would be the govt. with the help of the Liberals…Oh Jack what have you done?

This is a rather delicious development – can we say Jack’s Separatist Sandwich will be hard to sell and expain to the ROC. Cheers.

What is that saying, the best laid plans-
I agree, the bloc thought there would be a minority and they could become the govt via a coup let by Layton. Wonder what the dippers outside of que think of this. A lot of them were quick to support Jack’s decision. Did they know or were they kept in the dark, aka a lot of voters in Que were re their missing candidates.

Talk about the NDP being between the devil and the deep blue sea with the concoction that now comprises that party.
When Madam Turmel is traveling across the country as acting leader how will she explain away the fact she was for several years a card carrying member of the Bloc separatist party as of January this year to join the NDP? How will she cover her butt on the fact she said she left for “personal reasons” not because of their policies?

All we can say is thank God we have a majority government in place and Jack and his crew can’t keep promises made to Quebec or we might well be sold down the River St Lawrence.

Of course Layton and the Bloc assumed there would be a chance to form a coalition so they banded together. I don’t assume for one minute the Bloc won’t be back come next election, the Bloc folding into the NDP was a one off plot that backfired thanks to the ROC finally getting it right and for once Quebec got what it deserved by electing MP’s with no power. In some cases the MP’s elected weren’t even known by the people who voted for them.

Talk about a manchurian candidate. What is Jack doing here? Is this just his way of protecting his post in the case that he beats his cancer? I just can’t think of any other reason.

It was also reported on the radio that she twice contributed money (under $200, so that her name doesn’t show up in the Elections Canada contibutors data base … link) to the Bloc

This shouldn’t surprise us at all C J, the liberals still owe election canada money, to this day some of the liberals have yet to pay in full.
Turmel, layton, the liberals and the conservatives and canadians know just how screwed up election canada is. We also know which party(Cons) the EC like to pratice their bravado on since they EC, are too afraid of the others.
So, for Turmel to ever feel concern at what EC would to do her—ain’t going to happen….not now or in the future.

“Jacks seperation sandwitch” ? More like Jack’s S**T Sandwitch
which he would have loved to shove in our faces.
I think the NDP just had a J-dam dropped on it.
Did Jack think they would get a pass on this from his friends in Media?
Jack got some ‘splainin to do, not just to us, but to the NDP who are not seperatists.
Power at any price, is what I am seeing here.
The NDP and the Liberals merging? I think not unless Bob Rae wants to cozy up to the New Bloc Party.
Looks to me like the separtists just joined the party of Jack.
