Iggy’s $1100 Laurie Club “Working Families” tour function

I just received an email showing Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff attending an event which really shows how out of touch and hypocritical the Liberals are:

This is who Count Ignatieff defines as working-class Canadian families.

Well to be fair the libs can’t take their silver spoons out of their mouths long enough to walk amongst the peasants so they hang with tweenies and academic wanna bees who don’t notice said spoons.

Not a surprise, it is just a fundraiser for Libs. and they need any money. What I see from Iggy nowadays is just plain weird, he thinks wearing a pair of jeans and talking to high school students and teachers only at today’s event are ‘Working Class Families’. I do guess it is better than taking questions from the Liberal grassroots, they are not the happiest bunch today.

Well, perhaps Iffy had enough with the ‘listening’ to Joe and Mary Sixpack thing,
wanted to get back to the teach and lecture format,
followed by fine wines and pate.

That’s who he is , Canadians can’t relate to him but so be it.
It’s the fake regular guy thing that is the real turn off.

Sorry, I can’t see where this story is news. Followed the links, it looks like a normal Liberal fund raising site.
We all know that the Liberals don’t get a lot of $20 donations.
So, this really isn’t news, it just looks like normal pay to play.

If you can’t see the contradiction of calling a tour “Working Family” and then have a $1100 function during it, I can’t help you.

I get that. This just isn’t news. Everyone knows that the Liberals don’t care about families, don’t real know what family means and are quite clueless about normal family finances.
McGuinty comes to mind along with skyrocketing energy prices.
My complaint with the article is that there is nothing really
immoral or illegal about Iggy’s lack of understanding.
Finally, the premise isn’t worthy of the site for the reasons stated.
