Jean-Francois Larose is the 2nd newly elected Quebec NDP MP who has been found to have padded his official party resume:
“He obtained three university certificates from University of Montreal in crisis management, violence in society and police management and security”
The University of Montreal spokesperson says that Larose didn’t get a degree and before the NDP try to explain this away as a staffer error like they did with Ruth Ellen Brosseau (see here), Larose claimed this same degree when he ran for mayor of a Montreal borough (see here).
Update: Big surprise… the NDP blamed another staffer who has been now apparently fired (see here).

Maybe they should just change their name to the No Damn Principles Party and be done with it. Unbelievable! Too bad we have no investigative journalists in this country who could dig this stuff up BEFORE an election. How pathetic.
Slightly OT, I am hoping the shrill cries about Harper cutting funding to SOW groups, etc., will stop. It is quite obvious these groups are not needed when an inexperienced woman who can’t speak French can get elected.

So the NDP has these MP’s backs for publishing fraudulent claims and actually removing bios so they can’t be investigated! That should be illegal. I know my employer in the public service would be severely chastised for not doing due diligence, and I would lose my job for claiming to have credentials I do not have.
But I guess MPs are above all that nonsense. So much for honesty and transparency in government.
And Jack has the audacity to criticize P.M. Harper for “slap in the face” Senate appointments. Unbelievable!

Great message they’re sending the youth (who they claim to be so important). Just lie or cheat your way through life to get what you want. Great example you’re setting there Jack. Yeah, he wants to change Ottawa – what a joke. If this was any other party, Layton would be demanding a public inquiry. I hope the media rips them a new one about this.
